Yep, I use to feel the same way and huby said he wanted to take me to one and I would feel different and I did. That was about 10 yrs. ago and I have been hooked ever since. Couldn't beat it so I joined him.
He's such a lucky man.

In other news, what's the motivation with ovals? I have a certain respect for Nascar, but seriously, ovals bore me. I also don't find it to be as gentlemanly as F1, but I guess that's just me. I just wish the cars weren't stock, and the sponsorship was integrated in such a way that it looks like it belongs on the bodywork rather than having stickers on it... |

@SP, crashing and formula 1 reminds me of the funny thing I saw a year or two back on the Monaco qualifying day. The guy destined to start in poll position was passed by an also-ran, going backwards. Of course the fast guy had finished his fast lap and was taking it easy back to the pits, but since the slow guy had spun in the tunnel, we didn't actually see the spin. He just came out of the tunnel backwards and passed the "race leader". |
