Sounds like he changed his mind about scamming you for a specific reason. Because you and his widow mom share a commonality, it saved you from him.
That makes one out of millions out there with some conscience. I think he's sincere this time... otherwise, he wouldn't have told you about his scamming motive and warn you about other scammers.
You can test with him by signing up with another e-mail account. |

I've theorized about this exact thing happening, even heard of it before, but this is the first one I've actually seen. A clean confession (if sincere anyway)... wow.
I got a lottery lad to confess once, but then he just jumped to the born-again/sick/dying approach in the next paragraph. I got two baits for the price of one out of the deal, but it hardly counts as a real confession.

There is no way in hell this guy has quit scamming. No way in Hell. He just wants Me to think he quit. When you get someone to spend money like he has, you keep him ! 3 trips to the fedex (by someone here in the US, be it scammer or sucker) and the minimum cost to make the checks ? I estimate I have burned him for at least $150 |

i agree, i thought he was being sincere at first and actually felt like he deserved to be taken for his word. but if hes spending money when he needs it and knows you'll ust be on him, he wants to find an easy way to put an end...i say keep at him if you can |
