To further convince her, you might mention the following:

In the United States, electronic crimes (of which this is), actually fall under the jurisdiction of the Secret Service. You can see this website for details:

If she is hell bent on going forward with this, she should realize that when it goes bad (and it will go bad) she runs a good chance of being contacted by the United States Secret Service. Also, seeing as how you are not willing to lie for her, there's a chance that when the Secret Service contacts her you will have not choice but to tell them that YOU had informed the gal that it was a scam, and YOU had told her what the consequences would be, and SHE elected to ignore you and continue on. That's not going to help her case any.

Yeah, I've gone overboard in my description, but what I described above is a possibility, and the Secret Service does have jurisdiction over these types of crime. Not too may people know this, as they like to keep it a secret (ba-dum-bud... tip your waitress).

she said that another flag that made her wary was the fact that one of the men she spoke to, told her not to deal with the first guy that contacted her Laughing

Glad to see that you turned the bait around on the cosmetics as I suggested. Now we find out that every item they have for sale is "no chemical", even the eye 'bebefit' cream. [In or on the eye??? they didn't explain---ewww either way].

Your idiot lad says to you "we have no good kinds of goods." What the hell is THAT supposed to mean from a company ostensibly doing million$ in biz? Sounds like an admission of total crap!

Add on some Zsa Zsa Gabor Never-Get-Older anti-wrinkle cream too. Made from pure jackalope extract, no chemicals. [google 'jackalope']

I can only laugh in amusement at the list of available cosmetics your mugu sent you and the ones you sent back to him. But I think my point was clear and thanx for playing up on it--always insist on 'put-up-or-shut-up' with The lads when they give you the chance.

Be sure to ask more about the specific uses and usage of the 'breast care cream' and 'white fading out essence' aforementioned by your lad. I'm curious myself. Remember, since it all has 'no chemical' you can ask just what it all does have, and cures. As thousands of your clients have allergies it could be life-threatening. You need to know, as one man of biz to another [to him].

got another email this morning...these guys sure want to complicate things with needing samples....they need a slap, but they havent actually asked for money yet...only samples.

I found you guys when I was googling on GANGTAIYUAN.

We, a wholesaler in the Netherlands in security products, have received an enquiry from this ''company''. Quite a big enquiry, at least 150,000 euro / dollar.

We are very suspicious about this enquiry and the company and now even more..since we found out the information in this post. The enquiry we got is from the exact same company ,same address, but just a different person.

They call us almost everyday and they want to make a sales contract etc. etc.

Is it really a scam?

Before they place the - rather big order - they want the samples free (and we can do that i.e. 2-3 kg), but they she is not able pay the 50 Euro of the delivery costs to China.

To all, we received a very large order worth 600K EUR. We changed the contract, secure the payment cash in advance 40% and L/C.

We are visiting them on this coming Friday - I am worry becos of this forum - I am alert to any scam - I will give you a feedback of our visit. My wife is chinese so she can translate all conversations. The buyer does not speak english.

You have to know that they may invite you in order to get commissions from you that is the reason they do not negociate prices. I will know more for sure this friday after our visit at their office.

For information the office building is different from the one on their website. We sent a friend to check out the place - but it is a nice office.

We have all informed all the authorities of our visit in Shenzhen. If it is a scam, I fill a police report in China as well as European Council in Hong Kong. We are taking all necessary precaution like to documents, no money, no belongings with us. I will hired our own driver as some friends informed that one of the scam is to kidnap foreigners and ask for money to the company.

The same in Poland. We have received an enquiry (by fax) for over 200.000 EUR. The conditions are 40% prepayment and L\C. They easily accepted the content of our contract after very short time of consideration. They did not negotiate the prices and said that have no experience in international trade. We are invited to visit them to sign the contract because they want to "know us better". They are impatient but very polite. I called them 3 times and the women I spoke was a secretary of a man indicated in their enquiry. I was told the man does not speak English. They faxed us a confirmation letter and their business documents in Chinese.
As it is impossible to our president to visit them this month we suggested a video conference but they insist on visiting them. They did not answer for our invitation to Poland.
Should we be afraid?
What kind of scam may it be? Kidnapping - what elese??
