I apologize about the religious message I'm bringing in, I know that religion and politics is a no-no, but this one is about religion:

We have the belief in Islam that when a person dies at a young age, they are being taken into heaven because later in life, if they were allowed to live, something terrible will happen to them, like a debilitating disease or something of that nature. God takes them before it happens, so that they don't suffer. I hope that this somewhat comforts you, I lost a nephew (Cousin's son, but she was like a sister to me) in November.

I know it won't bring him back, but please accept my sincere condolences. I think the volume of messages in this thread should tell you something of the depth of concern on the forum for you and your family. You are in all of our thoughts.

Thanks for the messages everyone. You have no idea how much they are appreciated, and I'll see to it that they are passed on to his Parents who have been going through a hell of an ordeal this last week.

Still have no idea what killed him. Apparently, he went to have his throat checked the day before, and was referred to a specialist straight away and should have went the same day. Whether he was just afraid of what they may tell him, or just too stubborn to go, I guess we'll never know.

I am really sorry to hear the bad news. I cannot imagine what his poor parents must be going through right now. I have a daughter that age and if anything every happened to her, I think that I would die too.
