We had 4 days off, so we did a road trip. We left our desert home, crossed the semi snow covered, (dry winter) Sierra Nevada range, and landed in Monterey, CA. (In my decadence, I had Abalone and Congac for dinner, while the Harbor Seals frolicked from our table view. The ever beautiful Angel had a wonderful Chicken Marsala). We went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. This place will blow your socks off! Please, check out the web site. Especially the "Outer Bay" part of the website. It's a lot of fun to cruise around!http://montereyaquarium.org/ We bought a case of huge, just harvested Artichokes, and a bunch of Strawberries off the vines. We even stopped by Pebble Beach Golf Course. No Tigers found though. Next trip is Yosemite, land of VERY, VERY, big rocks! I live in Wobby World, but I still love California, my home state!

I've always wanted to go to the Monterey Bay Aquarium... I used to do volunteer work at the Oregon Coast Aquarium and everyone was always talking about the cool stuff they had over there that we didn't.  |

I'm a member of the aquarium - make it there a couple of times a year. It's amazing.
Go to Yosemite a couple of times a year too, come to think of it. |

Glad you had an enjoyable R & R JT. I've played Pebble Beach (on the computer) a few times though. |
