Just a quick update on my long absence.....
Since November I have survived a heart attack, major cancer surgery (kidney removal), a series of strokes, cyatic nerve damage in my left leg and partial paralysis in my right arm. With spending over a month in the hospital and another in a nursing home, I have decided that unless I get run over by a bus or something, I will be hanging around until the Second Coming.
Needless to say, with all of this going on, I have not had a whole lot of quality time in front of the computer. Fortunately, the cancer was confined to the kidney, so once they removed it, I was able to escape having to have either radiation or chemotherapy.
I did figure out that all of my baiter accounts died out while I was laid up... I guess the shelf life was not too good on them... So I'm off now to create some new identities and seed some guest books....

PS: I have $43.5 million USD that I need to smuggle out of Iraq/Nigeria/South Africa (take yer pick) Anyone want to help me for a 20% cut? All I need is a small investment to clear the paperwork.... I'm afraid my Social Security check won't cover it... |

We've had some local crap happening here, but when I read what you have been through I feel guilty that I haven't had anywhere near enough trouble! |

Damn Hamm! You've been dragged over the coals with the broken glass in it! I salute your resoluteness! I've been through some times me myself, but not like the ramifications you discribe. Stay strong, eat well, and laugh. It helps. My wife did chemo. Thank God you escaped it, ( not discounting losing a kidney, of course). It almost killed her. I read on a cancer site once, the Doc figures out how much chemo drug will kill you, then they subtract 10 to 20 %. There's your dose. Glad you're doing OK Hamm! Cheers to you! |
