It is very sad, but at the same time one has to be thankful that my father did not get physically hurt. He went to Ghana two times. I found this on wikipedia:

Clearly I am not getting the help I hoped for by posting on this forum. I don�t know if there is a way that I can prove my history without compromising too much of my own personal information, and yes I am aware of the fact that scammers use this argument too.

�Behaga meddela i Svensk fr�n n� av� is not a correct sentence in Swedish. You may want to contact a real Swede and ask him if he would formulate Please communicate in Swedish from now on in a different way. It would probably be something like, Var sn�ll och kommunicera p� svenska fr�n och med nu.

Your not? You were advised that it's a known common scam format, and that the photos of trunk boxes are als common ones used by scammers, how does that not help you?

God knows that I am no expert on imperatives in the Fourth Conjugation (or other aspects of Swedish grammar), but GomerPyle may have meant something like:

@wenar - what you've been told is unfortunately true. You are unlikely to recover any money your family has paid. Evidence you think is true is false, even the trunk-boxes - these are usually full of scrap paper with a few genuine bank-notes on the top. The scrap paper is often dyed black to disguise the fact that there are few genuine banknotes in the trunk, and the victim is often asked to pay for a special chemical to remove the dye.

Funnily enough, "Kobo" happens to be ladspeak for "Dollar". If you're serious about this transaction, you need to provide the real names used by the scammers and their email addresses. If you hide all the relevant information, there's not a lot anyone can do.

I can't do that yet. I want to hear from the lawyer first. That will probably happen after Easter. There is some communication with them, I don't want to compromise that.

Some new stuff: We have very good pictures/video/audio of 8 of the scammers (out of approximately 13-15). This includes one long video of the "contract" signing procedure.
