Awhile ago, I must have posted at the right place as I got 419ish scams coming from IPs in ex-communist countries like Russia and Ukraine. That has now ceased but at the time, I didnt know where it was that was causing such a big amount of them to farm my email.
At the time I didnt know about scam baiting, even though I had gotten one of the infamous 'hitman' emails...that would have been a fun one to screw around with.
Anyone here have any past with these kind of scammers? Are they any smarter or just as stupid as your usual 419ers?
Id love to know if you could tell me any stories you guys had with this variety and tips on how to bait mine. |

In general Vlads are a little smarter than the usual 419ers. They are a lot less compliant with typical baiter requests and are harder to get off script. |

Id like to try my hand at a Vlad, but all my bait attempts have netted nothing but Nigerians and 1 South African. Snore.
Is there a better way to link them in? I have something hilarious I am going to try. |

A great place to learn about Vlads is the Love Scammer forum. If you don't want to do the whole love bullcrap, just give them an ASEM and they'll drop everything and play whatever role you give them. |
