Over two weeks late I know, but I didn't know he had died until a business friend of mine mentioned it today Sad

Correct me if I'm wrong, but here in the UK I didn't see any airtime devoted to his passing. He wasn't a big name movie actor, but in my younger days in the '70s I loved watching him in The New Avengers, along with Joanna Lumley (Purdey) of course Twisted Evil

Such a shame his death seems to have passed by relatively unnoticed here.

This sad news got fairly good coverage on the radio last week Shiver.

And just to make you a little bit envious, the lovely Joanna Lumley used to be a neighbor of mine. And regularly hired cars from a company I worked at, for a short while in my teens. Mr. Green

So sad....I remember Gareth Hunt from several shows over the years, and always enjoyed his verbal repartee with Purdee on 'New Avengers'

There was some brief coverage of his death in the newspapers.

I think he spent a lot of his career after 'The New Avengers' in the theatre. He also appeared in the period drama series 'Upstairs Downstairs' which has just finished been repeated on one of the Freeview channels and will probably pop up again in the near future. The less said about the coffee advert the better.
