My father is in the hospital - went in yesterday with pains in his shoulder. I kept telling him that even though it was his right shoulder it's a possible sign of a heart attack waiting to happen. So, each time he'd call - he'd complain. I finally said - I'm tired of hearing about it - go to the ER - he said he didn't want to pay for the tests. I said "Then stop complaining, go to the funeral home and pick out your casket and make your arrangements."
He went to the ER. They've been running tests all night - and my mom is not educated - so she can't tell me what's going on. I'm waiting for my brother to get there to find out some info.
UPDATE -
Thanks for all your good wishes.
They just released him from the hospital. He'll have to go the day after tomorrow for some tests.
His potassium levels were low and I think some kind of heart enzymes were high. He's going to be ok - but they want to get all his levels to a normal range. |
