Actually, you found eleven, KD - #5 appears twice in your list. I'm available for proof-reading duties at very reasonable rates, if you need me Wink

Some of the points (3, 4, and 5b) reflect differences between British and American punctuation. We Brits tend to put punctuation marks outside the quotes when Americans put them inside.

Also, "realise" and "realize" are both acceptable in British English. The first spelling is far more common, but the second spelling is the one recognised by the Oxford English Dictionary, the most authoritative source for British English.

On a different note ...
Might not this puiblicity, in a sense, be counter-productive? By and by the scammers too would get to know of the Eaters, would (and probably do) visit the site and pick up tricks on how to differentiate between a baiter and a victim.

Just a thought ....

That's not what I was taught, but the article is consistent - punctuation is inside the quotation marks when it is part of the quotation, and outside when it is part of an enclosing sentence.
