Recommendations - YouTube-a-Like?

A lot of you will know that YouTube's transcoding of user's uploaded videos leaves a lot to be desired. Low LOW bit-rates = crap quality videos. I'm fed up of looking at lovely video on my computer, only to see it turned to mush when it has been through the YouTube bit-blender!

Can anyone recommend a similar sort of site to YouTube that is less liable to transcode uploaded videos into crap?

Photobucket now allows uploading & sharing of videos, though I have no idea what the quality is like...

Google video in my mind is a better bet! (not much - but slightly better)

Encode the FLV file yourself

I don't know if youtube allows you to directly upload the FLV files, but in any case I'd be happy to host them on mugutube if nothing else Smile
