I hope something really went wrong on this guy's trip. I have been using read notify with him and he has not checked email in a while. His friends are really worried about him it seems.

Honestly, I am wondering if he was arrested. I made sure to tell him to present the customs officials with his fake ID that he had made. I told him it was vital that they saw it. Since he has not been checking his mail (according to readnotify), then something is definitely up! I love it! Twisted Evil

Well Cotonou, along the coast is one of the most dangerous places in West Africa.
There are knife point robberies in broad daylight, especially along the beach area.

Gangs will hang about the main costal bus depot at Gare De Jonquet and pick off likely looking travellers.

I have found Benin to be on a par with Nigeria as a place that Africans will avoid as being "too risky" apparently many are still frightened of the history of Voodoo and the Juju man... Shocked

Yeah, I have tried emailing him a million times. Nothing. Sent him about 5 read notifies. Nothing after the first one in Abuja. I sent him to the customs office with a fake ID on purpose, with hopes of an arrest. My prayer is that they saw that fake ID and arrested his sorry butt! Plus, I know that the Abuja customs office has probably been sick of hearing about Father Jojo's orphanage and packages being delivered to Sal T Kum.
