Just got this from a , made me think of goodfellas so decided to try a mafia style bait on him. Anyone else interested in jumping onboard?

The management will like you to send the following information for the successful transfer of your funds and also to avoid the transfer of your funds into a different nominated account and wrong beneficiary.

The information required from you is listed below:

1) Your full name and address
2) Your banking details where your funds will be transferred into.
3) Your telephone and fax number.

You are required to get in touch with who is your payment officer onfor further instructions on how your funds will be
transferred.

There is an option if you want the funds to be brought to you in your country then you can advise your payment officer on that issue.

Be advised that you have fulfilled all financial obligations required from you to get
your funds transferred into your account.

In regards to the present situation, a lot of people are claiming that you gave them authority over your funds and you are therefore advised in your own interest to cut off all communications between you and your local representatives to avoid the wrongful transfer of your funds into another person's account.

The Management will like to apologize on behalf on the Federal Government of Nigeria for the long delay of the transfer of your funds into your account.

On receipt of your mail or phone call to the Payment officer your
funds will be transferred into your account Under 10 working days.

I do not think that much of an explaination is needed here. I would imagine that he is going to pretend to be a "good fella" i.e. a member of an organized crime family. Lads are pretty stupid and may not get it but it may prove to be a funny read for the rest of us. Good luck.

I'd guessed the Mafia connection - the main thing to clarify is, how do the other baiters play it? I suppose we'd have to be bought in to assist at some point - or maybe threaten, cajole, etc? Is there an overall plan?

The idea that was rattling around inside my skull was to slowly bring in members of the family who handled different thinks like banking, WU transfers etc. Because the lad also mentioned the possibility of bringing the money into the country I was also gonna bring in someone to handle that side. Make me sound like someone important. Also I just wanted to see how a lad would deal with a load of 'wiseguys' speaking in cod-italian gangster slang at him.
