I have included the message source from another scammer.

He is selling through ebay accounts and then offering the items outside of ebay for half what the item should cost new.
I have attatched a link to this persons ebay store so you can check out for yourselves ho deeply suspect this guy is.

I have baited him and am waiting for payment instructions so maybe he'll give me some more details to stop him. I have contacted ebay already also and am in the process of informing all the current bidders.

Can any of you source where his email is from?

Just out of interest, what could this guy do to me if I bait him?
Also, I am just waiting on instructions for payment as he said he prefers to do a bank transfer. This, I guess, would mean he has to give me some bank details. Should I post them on here if he does?

^^^^^ RL = Real Life, as in, does he have your real name, email address etc, and with which he can do a quick Google and get your home address from somewhere you have posted online with your RL details.

I just google searched my name and my email addresses and found nothing. How deep can these people go? I am aware of one possibility if they REALY want to get my info etc.

I'm not in the habit of stoking a fire but this kind of thing realy p*sses me off! I have stopped baiting and will stop until the next one comes along. There seems to be so many of the theiving twats about and as long as more and more people become aware, the less chance they have of succeeding. Just a case of making people aware I guess.

The next one can start any time you choose, just grab a letter fom the surplus mail forum and off you go. If you use a gmail or hushmail account it will strip your IP and set it up with totally fake details then your home and dry. Making people aware is one of the reasons we do this and it we can stop even one innocent person being scammed then it's mission accomplished. The fact that it's great fun is also an added bonus Wink

I'm on AOL and it does not resolve me to their US server it resolves me to the UK.

Me - I'm a simple aol.com - I chose them for a simple snappy e-mail addy and anonymity - and I don't live in the USA but that's where my ip leads anyone who cares to check
