@emma: They write books about what I don't know about Java.

Maybe "Cancel" could loop into a round of trouble shooting questions.

- Cancelling printing.

- Was your print request successfully cancelled?

- Press F7 on your keyboard.

- Did that solve your problem?

- Check that your printer is plugged in... yada yada.

Printing all the while, of course. That might keep them from pulling the plug a little longer.

It's nice for a lad when something fails a few times. Couldn't he randomly 'lose his connection to the server' when trying to print the MTCN, or after completing a large amount of questions, forcing him to go back to the start? Lads would find something like that entertaining.

I slapped the crap out of him for this and explained that the first two digits are the country code or something, and that he only needs to take the last 10 digits to WU.

Many moons ago I had two little windows programs put on my desktop by a 'friend' one said click 'cancel' then appeared to open a dos window and proceeded to delete the contents of the hard drive.
The second said 'a Windows error has ocurred, this is probably because you have a small penis. Is that correct? and when you tried to click on the 'no' button it moved, you had to click 'yes'. If he complains blame a virus.

I forgot it takes about 3 days to get a bait going (2 if you're lucky), They have to send out their first two dud mails, and then there's finally real contact. Such excitement, and I haven't got anywhere yet.

After filling out the security form a bunch of times, getting yelled at by WU, and getting booted from the Moneygram office, I get a very very long email. Here's the best part of it:

BE? I can be easily jailed, because they will not allow me to come to
internet and send you email about the situation. Can you imagin in what
nonsense you are puting me? But I thank God that this was not the worse for
me, and the Ladies at WU and MoneyGram offices were telling me to be careful
about those things... What put me in shame, they said call him.... I was
saying hmmmmmm, I will call him later, because only email I can
send. Since last week to this, am not happy about this situation, I
will continue saying it.... I need an urgent clarification Dr.

Can they really get arrested for trying to use a fake MCTN? I heard this somewhere else. Oh well.

Another idea: I don't know if WU offices have barcode readers, but if they do.

Print out the MTCN as a barcode, that when read says "This is a holdup, give me all your money"

That should do the trick.

I'm having no luck at all with this thing. I've exchanged more than 50 emails with one intensely stupid lad, and in spite of the user friendly interface, excellent customer service, and several alleged trips to the head office, he just cant seem to get his MTCN or his money. Razz

I'll probably need him to set up a bank account for wire transfers since WU is so unreliable. Cool

My lad does not like the idea of the standard WU security forms. So I have decided to spring for the far simpler WUsecure option.

Nod32 is a virusscanner, like Norton or Kaspersky, but a free one. You don't have to pay for it. Maybe you could ask him to buy a virusscanner?
