All the spam I seem to recieve are for stocks, none of the "good" ones that may lead me to fun. Who knew I'd be so depressed not to get spam.  |

Which spam you get just depends on which particular criminals have found your email address. I get up to 100 a day of mainly phishing and trojans with some stocks and a small amount of 419, but my address is in several email list archives. If yours is not very exposed it might be that only one stock gang has found it.
It may also be that you have some good spam filters installed.
The standard way here to get exposure is to sign a few guestbooks - the results roll in horrifyingly quickly - within a few days. My catcher account has received 6328 mails in 13 months and it only appears on three guestbooks. |

Thanks for the tips.
Question about the guestbooks? Are there certain ones that get hit all the time? I tried what the other page said w/ the google search tips but all the guestbooks seemed to reject my entries w/ error pages after I'd complete the form. |

^^I have found the same to be true. Many guestbooks have closed their doors rather than be inundated with scammers and baiters trying to get at each other.
Sign up for the shuttle, and you will have more scam letters than you know what to do with.
Also, check the spam settings on your catcher account, I turned mine off completely. Otherwise, ALL of the good stuff was going into the spam folder!
On second thought, maybe I should turn it back on, save me the trouble of deleting the older ones...

Signed up for the shuttle last night.
I had been checking my spam folder w/ no luck. Still just had nothing but stocks. As far as I can tell there are no filters set up, so I guess I'll just stick to the surplus link for now and try a few more guestbooks a few pages into the google search.

It can get difficult. I think I seeded about five at first and then three a few months later. Of those only three now show up on a Google search. You do have to look through a few of them to find an open one that displays the email address.
Looks to be a few open ones on this long Google search link.
And please type something relevant into your comment, and not just "nice site". |

Try typing in "Guyman+Guestbook+2007" into Google. You should be able to find a few that are still open.
My advice to you is to not sign any more than 3 or 4. Otherwise you are going to be inundated with crap. I have to admit that I was sceptical when I could only find 3 to sign, but believe me, that will be enough. 3 should generate about 20 419s per day. They'll take about 24 hours to come rolling in and remember that most lads work on African time.
Like someone here said already, you could also climb on the shuttle and that's maybe a better idea, as it won't overload your email. But it will be a few days before it goes out again.
Also, make sure you're using an email address that is just for baiting and can't be traced back to you anywhere else on the net. |

I pulled my first 419 email within 6 hours of posting my catcher account on a few websites. Since then they have been rolling in nicely. |
