What wold be really nice would be to contact all of the legit stock holders and get them all to dump the stock.
Hopefully the assholes will get burnt.
"Can that bad idea" the actual businesss might also take a huge loss and have to sack staff.

I get these everyday and for it to work for the spammers they would have to invest money in these stocks. It seems a pretty risky way to go about investing. Why not save all the grief and simply invest in the market ?

if you get a free email account at either www.9y.com or www.hushmail.com then when you get these emails from some stock,"pump and dump" outfit, the email is automatically flagged that it may be phony. most of these stock solicitations have a email such that the headers,ingoing and outgoing( I think that is what they say) do not match. both www.9y.com and www.hushmail.com automatically alert you to this

Posting stock scams here is like spamming us. Nothing we can do, we all get them, we've all seen them.

I sent a report about 19 fake websites hosted on a single IP that are being used in stock scams (some of the sites had even ripped their content directly from the SEC's own website) to that email address. The result? Nada.
