I have made it quite clear to the barrister that the "law" of our Island is that we cannot engage in finical transactions with parties that are not consecrated members of our church, otherwise we will loose our "tax free" status.

The good barrister replies...

I undersand what you mean that you are not going on with these transaction again, You have to make Mrs.Holy XXXX Understand that. Am only helping her because i have been a family Lawyer to her late husband. She does not have any relation nor any family to further the memebership form you send to her, Also you need to send me a resignation letter that you are not Interested any more.

Any suggestions for my "resignation letter"

A resignation letter should be written by a barrister and duly notarized.

I suggest that the "family friend lawyer" you are dealing with now writes the letter for you then sends it to you. You will sign it and return it.

Of course the first couple will not be suitable for your signature.
