Former Playmate Smith dies at 39
Breaking news
The flamboyant former model Anna Nicole Smith has died near Miami, Florida at the age of 39, her lawyer has said.
Smith, a former Playboy bunny, married Texas oil billionaire J Howard Marshall II in 1995 when she was 26 and he was 89. He died a year later.
She spent years in court fighting his son for a share of his estate, and won a victory at the Supreme Court in 2006.
She was found unconscious in a hotel room and could not be resuscitated. No cause of death has been announced.

I'm certainly no fan of Anna either, but I don't think bashing her shortly after she's dead is in very good taste. |

Interestingly enough, there are already rumors circulating that she was using methadone for some kind of treatment. Which is allegedly part of the drug cocktail that ended up killing her son........ |

Sounds about right. I am in the pharmacutical field (among other fields I have been in) and seeing her on TV I know it had to be some sort of CII med that was messing with her.
I wouldnt be suprised if she had died from a anti-depressant/C2 med mixture. It kills a lot of people that aren't familiar with mixing these types of drugs, and what might happen if they do.
Plus it's not healthy to take those types of meds, and have a diet pill which speeds up the heartrate. Probally died of a heart attack which was med related if I had to bet on cause of death. |

If she was on anti-depressents (which I believe she was), then she very well could have died from serotonin syndrome, a result of MAOI/SSRI interaction.

Although I detest the celebrity system in the US and how people who probably couldn't get a job flipping burgers can make millions a year contributing nothing to society, she didn't hurt anyone as far as I know and an 89 year old man probably died happy, She only hurt herself. I don't think she would deserve anyone's hate. It wouldn't change my life at all, but it always seems sad when someone just screws up their life and dies young. |
