What a shame. Maybe you can send them a Secure Transfer slip next time to make things go easier.

I always tell them it is against banking regulations to copy a bank instrument. Then I correct the number and send them again.

OR - you don't have telex, telegraph, morse key or gas lighting either. Tell them their technology is old-fashioned and out of date. Then send them one of the blurry forms that are available or do one of your own with the contrast turned up so high it's washed out - just as long as it can't be reversed. You give them a new problem, and new opportunities to make them frustrated.

If you know it's a real fax #, and not an e-fax, just fax them a black piece of paper.........

wastes a ton of toner/ink, and just makes them wonder what's wrong with their fax machine.....
