I'm a big fan of ancient history. The tyrants of Syracuse were called Dionysius. Also Dionysius was an extremely popular name and derives from the Greek god of wine. Now his antics would have gotten him an asbo.

Mines boring really.

An old boyfriend (we're talkin secondary school here!) wrote a song for me not dissimilar to Mike Myers poems in So I Married an Axe Murderer. It started 'Elle, sweet Elle'. It was hilarious!

Mine isn't meant to have religious connotations, I'm just a child of the 80s when "righteous" was heard as frequently as "awesome" or "cool". Although it makes a nice irony when you consider how religious the mugus tend to see themselves.

I was baiting someone using the character "Steve Trafalgar" when I found 419eater, so I signed on as Nelsonsbattle.

That bait was hillarious, I gave the Lad the number of a brothel downtown and he rang them soooo many times trying to get in touch with me - must have cost him a fortune Laughing

He said that he found them quite rude actually Laughing

I had to finally admit to him that the telecom company had misconnected my telephone line with that of a local company and I'd been receiving all these strange calls, and for now my phone was disconnected so he couldn't contact me by phone.

When I first started baiting I was claiming to be in the UK for paranoid, keep your real identity hidden reasons, so I used the name Angus MacTavish because is sounded, well, Scottish. I couldn't think of anything better when I signed up on the eater. If I had it to do over again, I'd probably pick something like Sir Humphrey (Applebee from "Yes Minister") or Rumpole or Morse (Inspector) or some other fictional character. Maybe Wooster (as in Bertie).

Angus, I'm in the habit of picking apart user names for hidden meanings, and I kept thinking yours might have a very muddled "Am gonna smack the bitch" in it. Embarassed

Guess I was looking way too hard!

Fine Fine, mine is really from my imagination. I have this slight fascination with mythological names, and I believe Radden was one of them (along with another I cannot mention because it'll catch me on google search). It was a slight change of pace for me to get this name, but I've enjoyed it a lot, as it's not offensive or anything. My luck has it that it'll be some porn stars name...

I have been a Harry Harrison fan since first reading one of his novels in 1978 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harry_Harrison Harry is an old school science fiction writer (wrote hundreds of stories way before scifi was trendy) Some of his better known novels have very shady delboy like characters and they are usually written with sarcasm and wit, always funny and adventures guaranteed. I just related with Jason in the deathworld trilogy, hence my name, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deathworld and I really relate with Slippery Jim DiGris http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Stainless_Steel_Rat from the Stainless Steel Rat novels, whose name I also use in baits, with glee.
