Just how dumb can a single scammer be?!

For the last THREE FRIKKIN' WEEKS I have been explaining to my scammer how to upload a video file he has created for me, in detail that would make War & Peace seem like a pamphlet. I've had him on the phone, talking him through it at least a dozen times, lost count of the emails I've sent, and STILL the dumbass doesn't understand!

We finally gave up and he's instead shipping a DVD copy to me instead.

So, to those of you waiting for site updates, blame my mugu, cos there isn't going to be any updates until I get this video!

Sounds like he's baiting you Shiver... I am sure you will make him suffer for his stupidity.

As for dumb lad/ettes, I've just gone 43 email rounds in the last 72 hours with Mrs.Joy who can't grasp the concept of reading a single line of text and responding with a yes or no answer.

This is the same guy who told me in December:

I have a set of screenshots that I took, with a detailed explaination of how to upload videos to megaupload.com. I think my lad found the document very handy, and managed to upload videos. Very Happy

I know exactly how you feel. I tried multiple times to explain to a lad how to zip some music files and upload it to a file hosting site (a very easy to use file hosting site), but he decided to pay $100 to have them shipped to me instead. Confused

I did a similar thing Stargate. The guy who filmed my "project" converted the video files to DVD. I explained in great detail (with screenshots) about uploading the contents of the VIDEO_TS folder but he got as far as uploading 4 files at a total of 64k and then gave up! I guess the cafe' owner was giving him a hard time!

I explained that the raw footage from the camera saved as a AVI/MPEG file would be much better and easier to cope with, but to no avail. I suspect the maximum upload file size of 500meg may have presented a problem as well Smile

Why go to all the trouble of a dvd when a 1 gig memory stick is so much smaller and much easier to post?

My lad was kind enough to create a yahoo email account that I can access where he puts all his photos and videos. He didn't want to flood my inbox. Hmmm, maybe I should delete them all so he has to redo it.

OK I have the video in my possession now, and I have to say it's f'king FANTASTIC! To their credit, these guys have done and even better job than I could have hoped for, including credits!

I' upload it shortly once I have recoded it, and put up some screenshots in the pictures archive in about 15-20 minutes.
