Start with one, when you feel that you have time and energy to take on another, adopt a second pet.

Not receiving replies is normal in the weekends. Since it is Monday, it could be that RL caught up with your lad. Who knows? Give him a few days before you write him off.

Yeah, I understand that the caf�'s are probably closed on the weekends. I just assumed that they would be up and back to business on a Monday. Thanks! Razz

How are you responding? A simple "Your offer sounds interesting, what do I do next?" should get you a reply everytime.

I find that multiple baits are best for me because if one goes silent on you, then you have others to play with.

Sounds like your getting hooked. You start with one but then you get bored waiting for him so you get another while your waiting for the 1st guy. Then when both don't answer quickly enough you get yourself another (etc). Before you know it you got god knows how many going at one time and your spending all day sitting there responding to them. Clothes go unwashed, reports go unwritten and your glued to your PC, unwashed, unshaven and wearing nothing but a string vest and boxer shorts Laughing

Beware, don't let it take over you life and make time to get some fresh air and do all those things you have to do in the space of a day.

It's all down time but I find 2 or 3 to be adequate so my advice would be yest to multi baits but don't let them multiply out of control Smile

Actually, I just got back into baiting since I quit about a year ago. I went on my old scam baiting e-mail just to see if any of my older lads were getting annoyed that I didn't reply for months (one of them replied 6 months later asking where I went.. LOL) and found a whole ton of surplus letters sitting in my inbox that were really old. I just sent the same to reply to a bunch of them expecting a reply on Monday, so I was just curious what was going on with them. Razz

EDIT: Whoever edited my post to remove the full quote, thanks. I'm used to quoting using full quotes on other forums I visit, haha.

It's down to personal preference and how you go about it. I accidentally multi - baited and it's worked fine for me except I am living and breathing baiting every spare minute - but that's me - compulsive.

If I had one or two I may be too careful with them, trying not to lose them. I have a No 1 Mugu who can e-mail up to three times a day and is deep in my web. Some are stubborn and stuck hard to their script so I make them wait and handle the fun ones first. It's going to be tricky now as things come to a head, but I don't feel disappointed if I don't have any replies this way - it's a relief.
