I tried an oldie but a goodie bait on a scam electronic website e-mail I got. My company was in dire need of flux capacitors, could the mugu find a supplier cheaper than mine?

Gonna blow my trumpet on this one. Many moons ago, way before phone lads forums et al, I used to bust the accounts by ordering ZX Sinclair Spectrum 48K mobiles with flux capacitor chargers. The lads added them to their spam lists and now they are a reality in their tiny minds.

And yes, I still order them!! Laughing

I did send them a picture of a flux capacitor along with a part number and a not too subtle "hint hint" to put them up on the website.

Lazy buggers, just just looking for the quick turn around.

There was this guy who claimed to be able to supply breeding pairs of Black Feluxes and Storm Wolves - neither of which exist outside the Earthdawn RPG.

I never did specify which model Cockatrice I wanted, so it could have been the D&D, AD&D, Runequest, Chivalry & Sorcery, or the Earthdawn variant...

For want of anything better to do, I put this into McDuck's modality blender. I set it for 150 questions, because everytime I've used it in the past the lad twigged on me.

By george, she answered every question and said she'll pick up the money tomorrow. Sounds like a dis-service call coming up.

She claims to be british and gave this name and address:

"Her" IP's have been bouncing around from Amsterdam to Houston.

I used to live in Scotland so I'm a little bit familiar with UK addresses..I'm guessing the Isle of Man is not in London?

After getting me flux capacitors (and claiming she had to go through 5 suppliers to find them) giving me a bogus address, she finally got the MTCN through McDuck's modaility. Shortly after trying to get her money at the local WU, she sends me this:
