Hey all, just wanted to say hello. I will be around a bit less for a few weeks taking care of my newborn son 
Little Ari was born on 1/17 at 1:58am and weighed in at 9 pounds 3 ounces. He looks just like his Mom (thankfully  ) and is doing quite well. My wife and son are napping at the moment and I am gearing up for the next feeding. I'll be back at my real job at the end of the month and will return to the forums in between my calls home to check on the boy.

Holy moly, VD- your son is HUUUUUGE!! 
As Chief says- get lots and lots of sleep. As the happy father of a one year old I can tell you that you're really going to need it.
Expect to be pretty much ignored for about the next six months- you don't have breasts and therefore really aren't that important in the greater scheme of things.....once your son realizes that you may be of value, given that you appear to be around all the time, that is when the real fun starts.
