The good barrister was a bit reluctant at first but I persuaded him to fill-in one of my Western Union Liability Waiver forms and send me a copy of a passport and utility bill.
This morning, I get all the documents and they are 100% real as far as I can tell but the Nigerian barrister has transmoglified into a young German man who must be acting as a go between. There is no way the barrister could get these documents without cooperation. Of course, WU Secure will not accept the damning Waiver form as it is not the person the original transfer was sent to.
The thing is, what do I do about this German guy who must be in on it somehow??? |

Are you sure he's not a victim? He might have been conned into collecting the cash and wiring it on to the actual lad. Unlikely but possible I suppose. |

Okay, if it is a mule, what should be done about it? I am having much toing and froing at the minute with the Barrister and the German. I originally asked the barrister to fill-in the Waiver Form but he found all kinds of excuses for not doing so and now he is trying to get the payment transferred to somebody else. We are not allowed to do that of course:)
If this is an unsuspecting victim, he should be notified - but how? |

Send the info you have to a mod, prefaced with a link to this thread. They will determine if there is a victim involved and get it taken care of. |
