I have been writing to this girl Julia Plotnikova from Angarsk,Russia!!
She said she was looking to find a friend in the USA before she came over on a work visa !! She asked for my phone number and the closest airport to me!Now she is emailing me asking for money to compleat her trip!!

you could borrow me some money?
I can't live here too long because every day I have to spend some

She's a scammer. I've seen those pictures dozens of times before. Give me a little time and I'll find you the links. In the meantime, whatever you do

DON'T SEND HER ANY MONEY!!!!!!

(edit) http://www.russian-detective.com/black_lists/individ/individual_scammers3.htm has "her" pictures and numerous names used by different scammers with them. Look for the one with the pierced nose. BTW, did you post about her on Russian Detective yesterday? If you did it's pointless pointing you to that link as well.

Besides the photos, the ID and other papers are also faked (duh) but I thought I"d offer a bit of insight as to HOW you can tell they are fake.

Look at the letters for the name. They are sharp and clear, with no 'artifacts' surrounding them. What are 'artifacts'? Look around the other letters and numbers and even the lines and patterns. You will see bubbles, dots, and smears....these are what make a JPG compressed and are therefore called "Jpeg Artifacts".

Since the letters for the name were added later, after the original JPG was created, there are fewer artifacts, in some areas NONE. The clarity alone can tell you that the name was added later.

As for baiting her you can't do that from any of the addys you have been in contact with her thus far..Set up new addys and begin all over again..Personally if I was you I'd forget her and be glad you didn't fall for it..Read around the fora before you make any revenge based rash decisions.. The fake passport is one of the worst I have ever seen. The guy/girl does not even know how a genuine passport looks like.

Rule of thumb: If she looks too good to be true it probably is a scam. I don't know about you but if I went to a bar and that one would come up to me and offer me a drink I'd get kinda suspicious, seriously. Laughing
