Has anybody seen this 6 part documentary series on Sky 3 filmed during the early 1990s at Lagos Airport? First part shown today in the UK between 4.00 and 4.30pm GMT. Bound to be repeated on a regular basis, knowing Sky.
Just watched the first (of 6) which featured, amongst other things, a guy traveling on a false passport (quelle suprise) and the airport firemen setting fire to the scrub in the perimeter to flush out bandits hiding places.  They used a week's supply of petrol to set the fire, which meant they had no spare fuel for the airport patrol vehicles!
The blurb for the programme reads "Lagos Airport - looks at the chaos and corruption that make this the most notorious airport in Africa. The pirates and the crooks were the ones in uniform."
Worth a look.

SP, I didn't have time as it was just starting when I came across it.
I'm sure it will be repeated, as these things usually are on Sky/Freeview. I assume the next episode will be at the same time tomorrow.
