That was GREAT!! Sounded like maybe it ended early - the last I heard was the scammer telling you to send the bag somewhere - did he ever figure out that the bag isn't leaving the airport?

HA! He's between a rock and a hard place now. I'm sure he believes the bag is there but has no clue how to get it apart from repeating over and over and OVER (zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz) "send it to Cotonou". Weasel's idea about a male supervisor calling might break the deadlock, especially if the supervisor decides to cut a deal with Frank over, say, 20% of the cash + 1 Rolex?

I listened to both recordings again (YES I'm supposed to be working, dammit). Unfortunately, I think the chances of a supersafari to Berlin are zero. However.... I wonder if maybe the the supervisor mentioned by Gnasher could have the scammer fill out, sign, and have witnessed a very complex release authorization absolving Air France of all responsibility for shipping the bag. Then maybe ship the bag to Lagos, where it gets held in the Air France baggage office waiting on Mr. Scammer to come sign for it. I don't know, maybe that violates the third party rule, but probably no more than sending a lad to Moneygram for a non-existent transfer.

You might be able to work this into an arrest if you can get him suspicious that someone in the Air France office has stolen the money - airport security probably wouldn't take kindly to this scammer arguing with Air France personnel. That one probably goes too far, but it's a nice thought....

I hate this kind of stupid stubborn lad. What is he thinking? That just because someone from africa wants the airport personell to send him a bag of money they will do it?
Kruella should cease any contact to him for a few days and an angry airport guy should tell him that after 1 week they will charge 10% of the content per day for keeping the bag. And when he takes the 10% he can take a bit more to buy some nice christmas presents. A bit laughing about the lad that he cant come to stop that will not make him come, but at least I'd expect a bit anger.

Well, this is wrinkle not before explored, IIRC... very well staged.

He either lets over $20,000 go begging or has to go to Europe to get it... either major Lad frustration or a great Safari. Good result either way!
