For anyone interested, I've just confirmed that two USA-based mugus are making a two-hour drive after midnight to a webcam-equipped location!!! 
They've got a long ride ahead of them, so I'll bump and provide the camera url when I confirm their arrival in the city, which should be around 2:00-2:30am EST (0700 - 0730 GMT). |

Good baits are never canceled, only postponed. 
Turns out the guy who came looking for me got lost, arrived in the city around 4:00am, got lost again, and couldn't find the meeting place. He's just leaving now and it's almost noon. He pulled an all-nighter with a good 11 hours wasted, plus a nice 2 hour drive back home.

Lads are on Eastern Standard Time, which is GMT minus 5 hours.
But don't make your popcorn just yet, because it's going to take some work to get them to a new webcam location. |

I'm going to need some coffee myself. And I'm sure the mugus are strung out on something after that all-nighter.
I got word they're on the road now. It's a 4 hour drive, approximately 200 miles. Still on schedule for 10pm EST / 0300 GMT.

More like a very small wallet with a large sum that I will lose in a frantic near-mugging just before their arrival. They're going to have to look all over for it while I am detained at the police station.

The hilarious part of this bait is my character can't use a phone and has to do all communication by email to the oga in Ghana, who has to relay the info by phone to the USA mugus. So it's another sleepless night for him too. And it works well because the mugus seem much more compliant in following orders from the oga.
These USA mugus don't even have internet access, as far as I know. |
