Update Nov 07: Had this lad for 2 months. A bit long winded and I wasn't really able to get him to do anything, but I had fun doing it!!! Nov 16 update at bottom of thread

by my late Father, the wickedness of men is high in this
place i have resolved to move in accordance with the word of
God in Judges Chapter 9 verses 1-end, but with emphasis on
vs 21,Then Jotham escaped and Fled to Beer and remained
there because of the wickedness of Abimelech his brother,
looking at the above i have no reason to remain here,however
i have the conviction that those that killed my Father are
still very much around since Politics is a dangerous game
in this part of the world.
Much as i want to leave, i DO NOT wish to leave any part of
my Father's HUGE DEPOSITS and RE-INVESTIBLE BONDS in a
private Security Accounts here in Lagos,considering the
level of Corruption, Political Blackmailing through Govt
Established Organs of OPPRESSION like the ECONOMIC and
FINANCIAL CRIME COMMISSION (EFCC) including the inccessant
killings and other henious crime not known anywhere in the
whole wideworld, as a born Again Believer and President of
my N.G.O, which takes care of the SINILES, AGING/AGED and
the HOMELESS, i need your help to be able to remove these
Monies to somewhere safer where i will convert them into
Donations and Suporting of MISSIONARY WORKS OF GOD through

Please forgive me for my forgetfulness. As I mentioned before, I was in a terrible accident and have many problems since. My car was hit by a large truck at a high speed and I was in the hospital for a very long time and had lost everything I had. I am having problems with my legs and my memory and I suffer from occasional seizures as well.
The medication that my doctors have given me helps a great deal, but my life is not perfect. There are some days when I wake up and do not even know who I am and cannot remember my life for up to 2 hours. Sometimes if I forget to read my history, I forget the conversations that I have. I must be very sorry for my last message as I did not reconize you or your words because of my problems. I most certainly do not wish to make you cum by your sweat.

I'm new to baiting but I'm a very experienced salesman. My first bait is still with me after three months and is currently being set up for a safari across Nigeria. The key to suckering a salesman (the lad is a salesman) is to show cautious interest and only give qualifying information to the lad with demonstated care. Real buyers don't jump right in and drop their drawers; that shows that you are not for real and your motivation is more to interact with the salesman instead of actually buying something (like the lad's bullshit story). You can always spot a real buyer by the way he protects his wallet.

Example of what to say and not to say:

"Money is not a problem" Wrong
"That's a bit of money, but I believe I can find a way to come up with it" Correct

"I'll hop on the next flight to Lagos" Wrong
"I'll go to Lagos if it is really necessary. Is this the only way to handle the transaction?" Correct

Make him pursue you until he is committed, then become a bit bi-polar. I slap, make nice, slap, make nice, etc. You'll have him off script in no time. He'll also return for more this way because it is human nature to return to an activity that provides random positve reinforcement (gambling is based on the concept). When in doubt I send a quick "What is our status" message. It usually elicits an angry response as it indicates that you probably haven't been paying close attention to the lads instructions (which I rarely do). They can't seem to ingnore it though. Anyway, just my two cents.

Also, get a K7 phone number (they're free) at http://www.k7.net/. That way you have a voice mail. I would lead the lad to believe you have assets as opposed to not being able to afford a phone.

@Fatbastard - What worked for me just his week is to accuse them of being an "automatic computer" and not a real person. Tell them to answer your all your questions, and if they don't, then they must not be real.

I'm going to have to do something to get his attention. I got into my cups a bit over the weekend and sent his pastor a note from my pastor and I also sent him a note from me accusing him again of ignoring my questions. Both notes were a bit off the wall and he didn't reply to either.

I think the "automatic computer" approach is worth a try. To this point, I have sent the e-mail to the security company a week ago and received no reply. Got one from my lad after a few days off claiming he had to travel somewhere.

In some cases, they will ask you if they can address you as "dear brother" or something similar. ALWAYS refuse this, it takes more of their time since they always have to fill in your real name, and probably will make some mistakes. Once of the little things to get them confused.

Something I learned...I only realized after I had agreed on the brother thing. But I said I agreed because my character's a religious person, which gives me some leverage later on, when he might have to join my church...

Hello Mr. Williams,

My name is Dr. Loannard Howell and I am writing you on behalf of my patient Mr. Jethro Bodine.
Mr. Bodine was arrested last evening after being found naked and in a state of arousal in the goat enclosure at a children's petting zoo. He has since been placed in my care as I have been his attending psychiatrist for some time now.

As you may or may not be aware, Mr. Bodine was in a serious car accident some time ago and was left with some rather severe injuries, one of which was a brain injury that kept him in a coma for several weeks.
As a result of this, Mr. Bodine is required to take a combination of drugs to maintain a level state of mind.
Against my wishes, Mr. Bodine stopped taking his medication some weeks ago and has been somewhat unstable since. It seems as though he thought he was healed and could stop as he did not like the way the drugs made him feel.

Mr. Bodine has asked me to contact you and inform you of his status as he feels he has possibly let you down and wishes you to know that he is still wanting to assist you.
He is back on his medication and will be feeling much better soon. I do not know when he will be released, but there should be no criminal charges laid against him due to his state of mind at the time of the incident.
Mr. Bodine will be allowed some computer access starting in the next couple of days once his state has stabilized.

Sir, I do not know the nature of your business with Mr. Bodine, but please let me know if I can be of any assistance.

Not over just yet....The letter from Dr. Howell must have touched the lad because he now has full confidence restored. His e-mail got cut off so I sent a note to his "pastor". Haven't heard anything in a week and a half. Here's the last few messages:

Dear Brother Babatunde,

I hope this finds you well my good friend. Please excuse my crazy behaviour over the last couple of weeks, but I was not on the medication I was supposed to have taken and I was crazy.
I had to read over our letters as I don't even remember what I said to anyone.
Did Dr. Howell write you? I asked him to let you know that I was ok.

Please tell me what we need to do to finish this business and get you here so I can make personal amends to you.

I got bored one night and decided to try and play with my lad a bit more.
I wrote to his Reverend (Jonathan Abili) and told him I was very worried about my friend and that I had finally made it home and claimed my inheritance.

Since then, I have travelled to Abuja via Frankfurt, then rented a car and drove to Port Harcourt, and finally to Lagos. (The Port Harcourt Airport is currently closed)

In the meantime, I setup a number on K7 (last 4 digits: 2419) and sent it to both Rev Abili and the DataBond Security company. I have received 5 messages from my friend Babatunde Williams, but my phone doesn't work in Nigeria.

As of today, I have been robbed and badly beaten while looking for my good friend. The robbers took my car, my phone, and my cash. I have secured private transportation and I am on my way to Accra to recuperate.

I'm thinking I might be able to get a SAFARI out of my boy!
