I would like to thank the members of this forum, who helped me sometme ago with a bit of research that I was asked to do for a Radio Station regarding Internet Scams ...... door knocking scams, rouge builders etc .. including Romance Scams. (not that anyone has ever knocked at my door looking like some of the pictures that you post in these threads !! )

I have been able to provide them with quite a bit of useful information for all of a 10 minute slot for their "scambusters" slot during this week

You may remember that I said that I would come back and try my arm with the Romance Vladettes .... or Nigerian "girls"

OK ....if someone can give me a couple of fresh addresses and an opening reply I would like to give it a go; please note that I am a straight baiter (up to a point !!! ) and will give them a run for their money.

You can go to http://www.dotsilver.com/dating-scam/ to find a list of scammers. You can also check out the forums at http://romancescam.forumup.org/index.php?mforum=romancescam or, if you only want vlads, go to http://russiandetective.forumup.org/index.php?mforum=russiandetective That's becoming a great source of scammer addresses for me lately.

If it's a Vlad then I usually write something like "Thank you for your letter. Of course I'd love to be able to talk to you. I hope you reply back to this email soon. Looking forward to hearing from you". Lads are a lot more suspicious of people writing to them, so I usually claim I saw their profile and thought they sounded interesting. If they press where I saw their profile I'll either claim "the dating site" and try to make out I joined a few at the same tiem and can't remember whick one or claim it's the Yahoo profiles.
