This bait follows the adventures of (me) buying animals from the one and only goat dog. The first month or so of this bait was pretty standard (as far as baiting goat dog is concerned) so were going to skip ahead a bit. The story so far is that westy have messed up another transaction so im going to have to try something a little different to get the money to him. Where we start, hes just given me a bank account.

good god, the people at the bank are retarded. theyre telling me that the fund couldnt be transfered because the account is being watched by the EFCC or some other organisation.
ok, i have an idea and dont shit all over it at first, just give it some thought. what if i was to pack the money into some object and send it to you? western union is full of idiots, the bank is full of drugged up losers but this seems like the only way im going to actually get this money over to you.
ive got an old desktop computer that has a fair amount of room in it for various dodads and whatnots. what if i was to put the money in there and send it to you? would you be fine in recieving it? the computer still works, i just dont use it any more because i got a newer one. what do you say?

instead ive used SPs courier site . they are an extremely reliable courier and my sisters company (she works in a toy shop in new castle but they have chains across the country) refuses to use any other company.

theres no need to get snippy with me. i put a value of £100 on the package but the courier said that the computer was worth more than that. they also said that the couriers have offloaded it as the insurance certificates are now null and void due to undervaluation, so it can not travel any further, it is for collection only.
now i know the money in the pc hasnt been discovered since the police would probably have been knocking on my door by now, so just be cool.

The following is probably the most bewildering email ive received from a lad but with regards to who im talking to, not overly unexpected.

right, heres where were at. i got an email back from the courier company and this is a copy and paste of what they said. ive put in bold the important bits.

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your email, I have checked your tracking number and see that there is a "shipment exception", that is concerning an incorrect insurance certificate, it seems that you have undervalued the item you sent to Nigeria, that means that the insurance certificates are incorrect and therefore invalid. When this happens, we offload the shipped items as we are not covered by insurance to carry it if it has been undervalued.

New insurance certificates cannot be issued once a package has departed, this means your shipment of a Desktop PC was offloaded at Douala International Airport (DLA) in Cameroon, it cannot travel any further, it cannot be returned for you to send it again due to us not being able to issue new insurance certificates for it, also, as we are contracted by you, no other couriers are allowed to deliver it, the receiver, Mr Uyi Iyamu, will need to collect the Desktop PC from the customs office at Douala Airport, there are no excess charges for him to pay.

I must also inform you that we have a 10 day collection rule, if the Desktop PC is not collected by the receiver, Mr Uyi Iyamu, within 10 days from the date they arrived in Cameroon, today October 17th, then the Desktop PC will be sold to the highest bidder at public auction to pay for the demurrage for storage of the item.

this puts us in a very difficult position. you asked me for 700 for a plane ticket but im completely strapped for money since i sent such a large amount with the PC and wont get payed until the 30th of this month. my company wont allow an advance paycheck either since were only allowed two of those a year and i took mine in febuary and june. im sorry, i cant pay for the plane ticket.
i will however be able to pay for you to drive over there. if you borrow some money for petrol and other things, ill refund you the money when you get to cameroon and ive received my paycheck. since i feel quite bad about this, ill also pay £2 for every 3 kilometres you add to the cars mileage. this should cover just about all the expenses.
i know it does sound like much of a consolation but its the best i can offer.

its quite simple. the package cannot go anywhere since the pc is not insured to travel. now, friday is the deadline for pickup. after friday, the pc will be auctioned off to the highest bidder. we have already been through this bit.
if you must, take some friends along with you to pick it up. the only other option youre giving me is that i have someone else pick up the pc and send it back to me. is that clear?

2) the mistake is on your part or the moneygram people. i sent you the digits that are on the slip and it doesnt seem good enough for you.

first off, youll go to the place you tried to collect the moneygram transfer and speak to the manager. im sure he will know how to straighten out the transfer mess.
secondly, travelling to guinea is no different from travelling to cameroon. if you just go there now, it wont be as expensive as travelling from lagos.
