I got exactly the same email today. I have told him that I have already sent him $19,000 twice but he is too bloody lazy to go an collect it (from Abuja). He want's me to sent the money 'in bit' - presumably to get over the WU upper limit. NO WAY! He trusts WU Secure.com or he gets no money!

It sounds to me like he couldn't keep all of the different lines straight in his head. Maybe lost a few email addresses.
I think he is trying to salvage whatever may be left by trying to get everyone to the same point in his rountine.
I would start asking him to name back what I ordered along with the prices that he quoted earlier.
Try emailing him from a new account and see if he even notices that he never talked to that person before.

Wow! Goat is on the ball!!! Two replies in one day. Not bad after three weeks of inactivity.

I replied to his first e-mail saying I'd work on getting the money together and asked him to remind me which animals I'd ordered. He totally ignored the second part, instead asking for money again.

western union and moneygram have both made screw ups and wiring the money to his bank account ended in disaster. whats the solution? stuffing an old pc with �50000 and sending it by courier. SP has agreed to send it by his 100% reliable courier company so if he goes cold in a couple of weeks, hes probably sniffing around an airport miles from home.
thought a heads up was in order.

Yep, his pc stuffed with cash is being sent tomorrow, delivery is set for next Tuesday, I don't know why, but problems always occur before the delivery date, and it is unloaded somewhere other than the delivery destination, at which point, he will have 10 days to collect it or it is sold at auction to cover demurrage for storing it Twisted Evil

A good samaritan got a hold of or broke hacked goats addy and is warning people. maybe a mugu dought it the e-mail came from Ireland.

A lad played this 'good samaritan' ruse on Kryten and myself, posing as a girl who was kidnapped by a 419 gang as a sex slave, who was mailing victims warning them they were being scammed

'She' even went as far as to supply the lads email password

Kryten corresponded with 'her', while I ignored 'her'

'She' gradually became more irate with me, then dropped off the face of the planet when Kryten and I introduced our own modalities, and our lad had the bigger concern of his account being hacked (or so he thought) and his dollar being chopped by rivals.

I'm having huge problems getting the vacination certificates from him. It's a bit like Duck Season, Wabbit Season, Duck Season, Wabbit Season here at the minute... He wants the money before he sends the certificates but my accounts department won't give me the $19,000 to send him without the paperwork - he has obviously never had to deal with a petty cash clerk before.

Emma be good and open a bank account for him in Abuja. That's the only bank authorized to recieve large amounts.

International Oceanic Bank love scammers. Specially if they demand to see the bank manager.

With the letters I send with them to the bank managers, it doesn't matter about which bank it is (other than the 'inconvenient' location)! Why send them to a local branch if there is one 100 miles away that is just as good? When they are clutching an official letter from WU Secure personally signed by the President (and offering monitary compensation for their inconvenience), how can they go wrong?

He will find his shipment goes to , and if he does go there to collect it, he will find my couriers made an error, it's actually at an airport on , looks like at least an 80+ miles off the coast from Douala, must be a ferry there, lets try and get him to Cameroon first if we can, loads of money stuffed inside that pc that Loading sent, must be tempting Very Happy

@ Loading we might have to forget about , it's about 150 - 200 miles off the coast and hard to get to, flight only, no ferries go there. I will find another place to send him, providing he goes to Camerooon that is.

I think this is GO4T[3] - at least. I'm still arguing with GO4T[2] about vaccination certificates but today, I've told him the my previous secretary has left the company and left the records in a mess. I can't remember which animals she ordered from where. I need to know before I go sending him the $19,000 again.

Come back GO4T[1], all is forgiven. Alas, I haven't heard from him since I sent him to Abuja to pick up the money with a bar coded WU Secure form. Poor kid, he was since a nice boi.

I betcha go4t(1) sold the scams he had going for a quick buck to some of his friends then. I'd really press him for an itemized price list then and have him at go4t(1)'s throat for the old emails.
