The bank account is real... and it's in Mr. Baker's name. Can't get anymore info than that. Tried to call him...phone rings a bunch of times and then either stops or beeps (but not to record a message). Confused

Heh... the local police, county sheriffs, and state police are not interested in trying to help this poor sap. Rolling Eyes

Yes, I did....w/ full headers. I also received another duplicate e-mail from "the barrister", making it an even dozen.

I received the same message and sent it to the bank's main office. They seemed genuinely surprised & concerned.

I sent the standard "fill-in-the-blank-form" e-mail to the bank as well...but I heard nothing back (I hate those generic website e-mail generators....who knows what sort of clerk is opening them...?) What email address did you use for them? You can PM me if you prefer.

He sent another email in reply to mine saying he had to fill the form, and that he should understand rules being a barrister etc:

I know it will be hard getting any safari out of this fucker, because he claims to be in the UK, but I told him I am going to Africa on October 6th, and I am taking his damn $45,000 with me, plus my church have decided to donate an extra $45,000 to cover any future medical fees since we feel really sorry for Mrs Irwin, I just wonder if he will know someone in Africa who can collect it from me in Chad, I will be there for ages with no access to WU or MG:

I will send him an email on the 6th, just before I leave for the airport, so when I next reply, I will be in Africa, I will say I took the money with me as I was going to fly from there to Mrs Irwin, but I will get stuck in Chad and see what he says, it's probably a non starter, but you never know when lads are greedy.

Yes, I've just got that one too. can't figure out who the stooge Russell R. Baker in Florida is, unless it is a cohort. There's no email address or phone number. It's funny that Barr. Antony says he can't afford to go to Mrs Irwin's side. I've never known a poor Queens Councillor. WTF is he up to?

I tried to ring the good barrister just now but I couldn't get through. Away, as I am very sympathetic to his plight and my business is not far from Crown Office Chambers at Temple, London EC4, I have told him that I am sending my lad round to his office with �2000 in cash to save time. I will have to leave it with Barrister Antony Edwards-Stuart's secretary because he is in court all day:)

Yes, it is very possible for you to go see her but considering the doctors advise that she will not be allowed to see anyone for now until after a while, so I do take to such advise seriously, I guess she is under intensive care presently reason for such advise from the doctors, I intend flying there myself but when I received the notice, I had to contact you immediately for you to help financially which is more important at this point, anyone that wishes to see her can do so upon the advise of the doctors when she is recovering, she wish to see you also but not now.

Talking about the funds sir, there are certain documents to be secured such as terrorist certificate and money laundaring certificate respectively, I believe you know why these documents are required for the transfer of such funds, this is to avoid suspecting the funds as being used for terrorism and other wise, this is the law laid down by the world bank and IMF after the 9/11 incident in the United state where souls were lost when terrorists attacked. Secondly, I will have to meet with Mrs Irvin in person whereever she may be to also sign her colum which I will now present to the bank for verification and release of the fund to any account I will present to them, also the funds has to be insured, this means that I will have to secure three documents and these documents will cost money but not much.

Mr Baker is the principal doctor who is in charge of Mrs Irvin. Sir, my involvement is enough guarantee that every bit of money you sent is going directly to her through the doctor incharge, as a matter of fact, it's the reason I got the permission from the doctor to use his account directly instead of coming to me first whereby I will then send to them, it's a wise decision I took to have demanded for the doctor's direct account. So you can go ahead and send them money as you wish from your heart, then inform me of how much you sent to them to enable me inform the doctor to go take such money from his account.

I will mail him tomorrow just as I leave for Africa with his $90,000, I will tell him I didn't have time to send it WU as it was to much to send in one go, so I thought I would surprise him by going from Africa to the US to hand the money to Mrs Irvin in person, I will have to ask what hospital she is in, doubt he will want to tell me that huh, then I can see if he knows anyone in Africa who can collect it from Chad.

Good news! Mrs Irwin's financial crisis is over!! She received a million $$$ from the ABC for her TV interview with Barbwa Walters and probably a few hundred thou more from Aussie Channel 9 for her exclusive with our own Ray Martin. I admit I'm shocked to learn she's so sick - admittedly she looked a little peaky during the interviews but not at death's door. Her doctor is obviously a very skilled physician.

What I plan to do is this, when I leave Chad, I want to fly to the US so that I can give the money to Mrs Irvin personally, it will be very good publicity for my church, to be seen helping with a good cause like this.
