She just called me to talk about the "credit card" she wants me to open.

+7 909-368-3502 (if anyone could find out wether this is a "trunk call station" or her actual phone number that would be cool)

I have never had a VLAD ask me to open up a credit card for her. I opened up a "fake" card totally made up and not relating to the site etc...obviously not good enough for her Laughing

I did a whois searched and it says the is reg to (Bank of America) but the servers say quest. I thought Bank of america had its own servers under its own name?

Hmm I can someone confirm if this is legit?

Yeah, MBNA is legit... I have had a credit card from them for five years. The reason you saw the stuff about BofA is because it acquired MBNA this summer. They probably haven't finished transitioning all the web stuff yet.

It is a legit site and service etc.....I'm perplexed on her insistance on THAT card specifically. Not knowing much about Russia, but is that one of the few cards usable in Mari-El (Yoshkar-Ola)??

I wonder if they have an insider in MBNA that wants to get up to something with the application? :S

Alternatively, these people are forever carpet bombing us with junk mail for their cards when they're not leaching on to people in airports in order to try and find gullible people willing to sign up. Maybe they hope that this is a way to meet their sales targets and have recruited vlads to assist?

When deciding whether to date/marry Vlads and give them credit cards, just remember the old adage that before you pick your wife you should look at her mother to see what you are in for 20yrs down the track.

Purely as a precaution, I think you should ask your beloved to pose for a photo with her mother. It's only fair.
