If we ALL tell him that we need to use a secure transfer with MG because of terrorism enquiries, he will believe us. Of course, lad needs to travel a bit, because the local MG office does not do secure transfers. (and hope he does not ask the local MG office about this)

We also need valid excuses of not using WU, preferably not the same excuse for all of us.

^^^ If he asks the local office, they will tell him they don't do secure transfers. Of course they will also tell him that they don't exist, but that should be easy for a whole crowd of baiters to counter.

I've got two standard replies from my Fastmail and Hushmail characters but he ignored my 3 Gmail characters. He even personalized the form letters with the character's first name.

This may help with the non use of WU modality:

I've used it quite a lot to make reluctant lads use MoneyGram over WU. If I, or somebody else sends it to him and it it backed up with the same story by everyone, we have him.

presuming that he wants the money sent to Lagos of course. But I can knock one up in no time if the destination for the money transfer is in another country.

*Edit* Just to clarify, That's if they demand to be able to use online tracking.

Has everyone else had this? The English and grammar comes as a bit of a surprise to be honest as it's better than any others I have had to date. Far from perfect I know but better than some of the folks in my office. My character has made all the right reassuring noises to go to the high court and proceed. Interesting that I held back in replying to the previous mail and got this one back in less than 30 minutes and on a Sunday. I have a sneaky suspicion that there is more than one lad working on this scam. Anyway I shall keep the dialogue going and keep watching these posts so I can join in with a team effort to inflict maximum damage.
