I don't know leet speak, I just talked as another lad would do, or do you mean the spelling of Usman Bello, this forum automatically changes those 2 words in that name to have a 4 and a 3 instead of a and e.

Ohhhh, okay. Very interesting, I like that. I also put in for a mentor, so we'll see how that goes, been busy for the past... 9 hours or so going over the forums, especially the helps and hint section.

I hope Ms. Williams can handle all the new romances she's about to get!

Maybe Kaz's dad could say he has a friend and he's looking to see if Mary has someone like her she could set up his friend with. Then insert SP or Wayne to take over -- since it will 99% likely be the same lad. Then SP et al could play the "friend" and get some incriminating details from "her". This would be added proof for Kaz's dad....

I love that idea. I'll run it by him later as he's gone for a few hours, he needed to calm down. He's a believer now.

No need for me. I'm already talking to the lady herself. Could be worthwhile not bombarding her all in one go though. May make her too suspicious. And offer my sympathies to your father. I've dealt with victims of romance scams and it's not just the money they lose. They lose a lot of faith too.

Well, I just spoke with my father. He says he likes the idea and he's willing to go along with it. I'm not sure on exactly how secure this would be, so I'll avoid any specific details about what he does for a living, but PM me and if Wayne gives the all clear for it, I can tell my father to go ahead with it.

Whatever you guys want to do, you're the pros.

We can't make any promises, but we'll certainly do our best.

Likewise, Jose, likewise. Its past 9 am now, and I started this stuff at about 11 pm. Needless to say, I'm not the least bit tired. I was pretty pissed earlier to the point I couldn't even use my mouse.

And I completely understand, Wayne. They can be pretty slick from the looks of it.

I wasn't clear on this point, but do you know if the money was picked up at Western Union yet? If not, WU will retirn the money to your dad if he's been scammed. You can call them at 1-800-325-6000.

Well, to protect my father from further crap like this, he was going to change email accounts and the whole nine, but instead got rid of the whole thing. One of life's lessons, eh?
