I'm very excited to write to you. It's so great to meet. I don't know

Can you post the headers up for us to see? I seem to remember an email with the translation service comments in it before, but with what you've given us so far it's nigh on impossible to really make an educated comment on it.

You need to edit out your email address from that last post. What we're looking for is a set of 4 numbers, like 123.456.789.10 that can tell us exactly where the email's coming from, and maybe a mention to The Bat! as well. If you want to post pictures, then it's worth setting up a Photobucket account. Everything about that email screams "SCAM!!" to me, but without the headers I can't confirm it. If you want to bait "her" then just play along, act dumb and ask lots of questions.

The fact they're using The Bat! gives the game away. Go to http://www.russian-detective.com/black_lists/individ/individual_scammers3.htm and have a looksee if your gal's picture matches anyone there. You'll see that a lot of them are the same set of pictures but with different names.

Yeah, the letter is generically scammer. You could try googling parts of it.
You may want to edit out your name and email address in the headers........ Wink

@heavyjay, it all depends on what email client you use. With Google you click on "more options" and "show original". in Yahoo you go to the bottom of the page and click on "show full headers"
