Here's an easy one for someone wanting to try a romance bait.
Heck, I'll give you the whole group!

is this blonde lady.

[email protected] will give you this skinny lady.....

[email protected] will yield this lady......

And, of course, last, but certainly not the least.....these emails will give you Oksana....
[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]

All of these are pretty straight script scammers.
Send them a blind email like

"Hi, this is Adolph from the dating site. You wanted my email address.
Hope to hear from you."
and they'll crank the script up.

You don't need to get too involved in writing these ladies.
I just forward the letters they send back to them.

The IP in the email headers should all point to a German/Iran satellite.
They were using Mari El dialup, but I guess business has been good.

This 'batch' are products of the same person, or group. The same person may be at the controls of all the letters.
They USED to be VERY easy to bait, and all you had to do to keep the letters coming was forward each letter they send to you, back to them.

They recently caught on to this technique, and cut me off on all accounts.
I think now they're looking at the incoming letters a little. You may get more answers than before. Make them work. Oksana would sometimes sneak an anwser to one of your questions, maybe 3 letters later, buried in the text.

Anyway. Try to bait them with as little effort at possible. The trick is to get them to waste the time, more time. If they have to start manually reading each incoming letter, that is cool!!

I just put together a set of replies (mostly surreal) at the beginning of the bait. Then it's just cut and paste, with a small amount of editing. Yes, it's script vs. script time.

When do the WU requests come? Marina my dove has told me that she likes reading, staring into the distance and working with kids as a psychiatrist. She wants to know about my family, but doesn't want to pry.

I haven't read many dating scam baits. What are the standard time wasting modalities? (I'm guessing stupid questions and money waiving.)

You can also just go into any number of yahoo chat rooms on any given evening and get inundated with offers.

Usually there's not much you can do to them until 'money time'. Then you can try for nude or sign pictures, a passport or visa scan, sometimes a phone call. Once they go off script I like to ask them some detailed sex questions. That can yield some interesting quotes!
In the end a couple of trips to western union are in order.
Be sure to publish a report on the bait, here, and at russian detective.
The publicity annoys the scammers and you may help a potential victim.

^^^ I hope you have some time with those two ladies. I have had both of them on the hook for well over 4 months now.

Anastaysia won't do a signature or customized photo for at least the first 2-3 months.

Evgeniya is very easy to get off script and you can get a trophy from her relatively easy. Don't ask for a nude from her Crying or Very sad

she'll get really pissy and might drop you. I had to darn near beg her to rekindle her "love" for me.

I thought I had twigged darling M@r1n@, but luv conquors all and it turns out she was busy at work (after about 5 days of no replies). Apparently one of her young charges were in organism.

You can always try to get them 'off script'. This group may be paying a little more attention to the letters recently, but I doubt they'll stray from the scripts unless they have to.
I'm guessing the time frame for 'start to money letter' for this group is 3 weeks to 2 months.
As they say in many disclaimers, 'Your Results may vary!'

Aussiedate.com Datingground.com or just do a search for Marina123 on google, and see which dating sites she's on currently, that's her.
MANY of the marina123's are her.
Just checked, they may be changing her name.
Did see her as Marina650 on one site

Got a pretty generic intro letter from her, no pictures.
It may be a retry from an old scammer, with a new persona.
DId a google of the email address, NADA.

Two of the girls in this group claim to be orphans, a third claims to work in an orphanage. I've been calling them the 'orphan group'.
How creative!
I think its Marina who sends out a later letter 'you not afraid to be in love with orphan? Or something lilke that.
These ladies are trying to push the 'sweet' and 'decent and sociable' buttons, rather than the 'hot and sexy' ones!

I baited Marina for 5 emails exchanges before she dropped me.

I did not bother reading any of her garbage, and only responded back cutting and pasting paragraphs from the automatic complaint generator. I guess there is only so much a scammer can take. Smile

Keep sending Marina desparate and forlorn letters. She's likely to write back after a while. You don't have to be creative.

She dropped me for about 5 days, then gave me a story about one of her charges needing medical treatment in Moscow and how it upset her.

Don't worry, she soon gets over it after she stares at bridges and stars for a while.

Not reading her garbage is recommended. Laughing

That's ok, they apparently only skim my stuff as well.

I just received another letter with pictures from Marina, they are the ones where she is dressed in what looks like a yellow nightgown or dress. I have not gotten the one where is is holding a stuffed animal.

I told her that I was an orphan as well. I don't think she read it since she said that I have yet to talk about my family.

You can still get a country of origin. Marina and her cohorts have been using the Fokus Satcomm satellite, which is a german owned company with an earth station in iran. You can't track them beyond that, but they are in Mari El.
