hopefully a 5 star cell at the Bankgok Hilton (aka Bang Kwang prison) awaits the unfortunate lad..........

If you think prison in the uk is hard, read "The Damage Done" by Warren Fellows, (amazon has a good review) sentenced to 12 years in this notorious nick.....

Hopefully mugu boy will spend a few months picking up the soap!!!!!

battery and cherry - that was the best thing i've read today, made me laugh. It still amazes me that cherry came face to face with a scammer and had to sit with him for a car ride to the jail. You and cherry deserve gold metals for this!

A quick update from my end:

I have just got off the phone with the Thai Immigration officer.

Unfortunately they were not able to charge our lad with any 419 charges, because technically all he was guilty of was doing a favour and picking someone up to take them to Bangkok.

The good news is though...even as I sit here writing this...the lad is sitting in a 747 winging his way back home to Guyana after being deported. As his home is in Bangkok...this must piss him off no end Laughing

Also we are both working at setting up another sting to haul in I won't know for another hour or so whether this will be possible...as it is such short notice.

Cherrie, that is sweet news. He'll land "home" without a cent and have to go crawling home to mama. Hopefully you get the next guy...I'm assuming that he had no chance to talk to his deported friend to know what really happened.

Hopefully Thailand is similar to the U.S. in that they make deportees reimburse them for the flight out.

He will probably be kept at one of the remand prisons in Bangkok. The welcome they get there is supposeed to be cruel and the dream situation for the true machosist Rolling Eyes
