Yes....it takes a few days to get inserted into whatever automated script spitting out software they use.
I have had some take up to 2 weeks to send the first letter. A couple of days is normal......

I'm not sure if all this is some function of 'the Bat!' they all seem to use.
I meant to download it, and play with it. Maybe that would let me understand a bit more of the scheduling.

@Stepan Fetchit- I know you said before that she doesn't seem to be typical and that she is off the "script" so to speak. Is there any possibility that isn't a scammer?? No doubt I feel that she is, but after 1 seemingly scripted intro letter she has responded to just about any and all questions I have asked her...any thoughts??

They sent you a scripted letter that's been slightly personalised. Sometimes they sneak a paragraph in somewher in the middle, sometimes it's at the end. If you bait the same scammer using more than one email address then you'll see there's only a slight variation in the emails they send out

I'm sure she is a scammer, but unlike any of them I've seen before she answers a lot of personal questions. Maybe what I posted isn't a good example of what I was referring to......no biggy, I'm only in it for the pics and the wasting of her time.

Seat of the pants estimate....50% or better will always be script, until the 'end'. (Money talk!)
Once you get a collection of letters, keep looking at them for clues.
The letter you posted is pretty typical.......with a little personal stuff thrown in....like mentioned.

You will see a lot of them mention 'keeping the figure up'......more times than not, they'll mention they do it to make men happy, as opposed to 'health reasons' like this one.
Of course, to a man, an attractive woman in workout stuff, sweating and bouncing away doesn't exactly bring thoughts of 'Gee, I bet her HEART is in good shape!', does it? Wink

If you're having trouble determing if she's a scammer, or finding yourself getting 'attached' to her, get some outside help, or dump her.
You really need to keep diving into the evidence that is SURELY there when that happens. If you get a little attached, you won't be able to see it, like the 'victims'!

(Is she using script, changing the story or little details, email headers, and so on....)

The nice thing about multiple baiters working the same lady is, you can compare notes.....one may notice something the other doesn't, etc.
Of course, 5 men getting the same letter on the same day, 'you are my only love, I want your babies, ravage me big boy!', is a nice slap back into reality, also!

FWIW, I have never had an 'honest' Russian lady contact me on the two dating sites I pull my 'projects' from. They contact ME. I don't look for them.
Except one, I can't convince myself is a scammer, but the evidence suggests otherwise. I dumped her.....

I've noticed an odd stuff in those letters.. the possible scripts are written with loads of grammatical mistakes but on the other hand those scripts are using a wide range of vocabulary ... Perhaps a special program exists which can... create dozens of variants of such letters?

Yes, not as many. I'd suggest setting up a middleaged female profile on either http://www.kissesline.com or http://www.cupidbay.com
and see what happens.
I suspect the Russian 'men' are there, also. Sure will attract some Nigerians, also.
Just set up a safe profile.
"I'm lonely, middleaged, live at home with my cat, need to lose some pounds...."
and see what happens. MAY Not be the steady stream of 'ladies' the guys get, but I bet they're there.....

Maybe? I think they're after people who have money, at least enough to part with a few thousand dollars. I think the 'middle aged' scenario usually means they have an income, are lonely and/or desparate.

Give it a shot. I think if you post a profile of somebody who is possibly young and attractive.....and a female....you may be busy fending off 'real' suitors!

I think I'd stick to a profile the SCAMMERS find attractive.

I don't think you'd need to get all that involved in the development of the 'profile'. I think I'd try a 40'ish, lonely woman profile.....and not really give many details, or even post a picture.

FWIW, there are some 'scammer stories' on the 'net for women who have been scammed by 'Russian men.' Maybe a peek at some of those may give you an idea of what they look for.

Thanks a lot! I never had the desire to be a 'middle aged woman', and now I am thinking of becoming one, at least on a dating site!
I don't even like being a middle aged man, and I'm actually one!

I wouldn't get real involved in developing a story. Just something 'vague'. They usually don't pick for details. I think that you reply at all, with more than a few sentences per letter, is indication enough you are interested.
Play with it, use safe baiting practices. Let us know what happens!
Send them long letters detailing your 'Hello Kitty' collection!!!!!

I'm guessing this is a typical machine translation error again. "In term of a storage" is probably meaning "contraception" (примeнeниe) and "membranula" is probably being mistaken as if it were a Latinate word, the original meaning "diaphram" (a declension derived from Мембрaнa). So my guess would be she is saying she only knows a little bit about diaphrams from watching TV but would like to explore more about it with you.
