Just found your site a few days ago, and thought I'd join the fun. I have 2 on the line right now that I just started last evening.

Sorry for the n00b questions, but I couldn't find the answer in the FAQ or any of the stickies...

Is is common practice to wait until the entire mess is complete, or is it ok (or considered bad form) to post the emails, etc. as I get them? It looks like some are posted as they happen, and some only after the cover has been blown. Mr. Pidfarker is curious Wink

Thanks

Jesco, welcome to the Eater. Smile I trust you are baiting safe?

People take a different view on when and if they should publish their baits. If you have only just started, I would suggest that you get a couple of baits completed before you publish. Lots of early baits go off the boil quickly, and you could find you start by publishing the early exchanges, and then have very little to add. You also need to think about the possibility that your mugu will do a search and find what you have posted. It's a remote chance, but if you have a promising bait on the go, it is a shame to spoil it. You can reduce the risk by masking your baiter character and the lad's name, and by not posting email addresses, but please use the mask facility sparingly as I gather it sucks bandwidth like crazy. Smile

Have you seen the mentor thread yet, btw?

Enjoy your time here. Smile

Mentor thread is here. No need to delete this thread - no harm in asking questions like yours, which are less amenable to searching. Smile
