Between me and a few other eater members about 2700 emails went out last night asking various lads around the world to call 'me' at a +44 number. This +44 number just happens to be on a london bombing scam that was sent out on Friday.

Here is one of the responses - not that dramatic but I hope it is indicative of what is going on with that number today:

Dear John,
I am very disappointed that noneof the two phone numbers you provided for me
to reach could go through. I have been on the phone since morning trying to
reach and have repeatedly received recorded messages that the numbers are
not listed on the network. That is a very bad beginning. Please Iwould like
to know what that means.Why is it that the two line are not working? i also
requested that you give me further details about yourself. I have not seen
your reply. I hope that we will not have any problems working togetherr on
this.
