. . . . . . . . . . The Revenge of Lou Ellen Jennings
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . By Eatyo Urgreens, Zed and Gold Hat
. . . . . . . . . . INTRODUCTION
Quote: |
Several months ago, a woman named Lou Ellen Jennings was brought to the attention of the kind, caring people here at 419 Eater. This was a sad tale of an older woman who had been ripped off by the scum from Ghana over a period of years. She was not the most intelligent person and was hapless victim of an ongoing scam. A number of 419eater members became involved in trying to extricate her from the clutches of these thieves and as a result, banded together to fight the scum.
A number of us tried to bolster her sagging spirits and send gifts at Christmas only to find out that she was continuing to contact her tormentors. To put it plainly, this pissed us off. I (Gold Hat), decided to send one of the key mugus, Mr. Alex xxxxx, an ASEM to start a bait with him - he took the bait. Other veteran baiters did the same. I was immediately joined by Eatyo Urgreens and we were joined later by Zed and Superbad who also had baits going with Alex and some of his cronies. We have also received help from the expertise of bent991 and Captain Igloo.
Since late December 2004, we have baited Alex using a number of techniques and characters. He is not the smartest man in the world and easily falls prey to our devious machinations. Along the way we found that he is a central player in a large gang of scammers who employ various scams. More on this battle in another post. His alternate persona is Umeh Charles xxxxxx, a lawyer. His real name appears to be Charles.
The initial bait came from Mildred Ratchet (remember the nurse in One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest). She is a doddering old lady living near Big Chubby Lake, Ontario Canada, a widow with too much time on her hands. She has a cousin in the UK, Mrs. Eileen Dover (Eatyo Urgreens) who helps Millie with her various projects. This bait continued for a while with Zed and Superbad conducting separate baits with Alex and his fellow mugus. Zed eventually became involved with the initial bait as you will see.
After Millie's failed attempt to send Alex $3,000 through a money transfer service, she became despondent and tried to take her own life. Enter Dr. Tim Bits (Gold Hat), a local doctor and long-time friend of the family. He quickly established a dialogue with Alex and arranged for money to be sent with the help of Eileen Dover in the UK. There were problems of course with filling out forms, insults from the lawyer and so on. As Millie was now unable to handle her financial affairs, her Power of Attorney was given to her preacher, the Reverend Timothy Horton (Zed), a disbarred lawyer turned preacher at the Dou-Gnut Holy Church and a man who had an affinity for goats. Tim Bits, Timothy Horton and Dou-Gnut are Canadian jokes by the way - more on this later.
As it turns out, Rev. Horton squandered Millie's money and was arrested by Sgt. Mungo Wank of the Big Chubby Police Department. But not before Rev. Horton had set up a sinful relationship with Julie Newmar (Zed), a sultry bisexual bank clerk working at Millie's bank. Money was sent by both Eileen Dover and Rev. Horton to Alex but the loot was intercepted by Nonoh Michael (Eatyo Urgreens), a nefarious mugu who steals from other mugus by invading their email accounts. He is comparable to the "one who must never be named", the nefarious Usm4n B3ll0.
And that's where it stands as of March 28, 2005. There will be additional story lines in later parts to the story just in case you get lost.
So sit back, have a cup of tea or a wee jar of your finest and enjoy the story. There are lots of goodies including some wonderful audio files that shouldn't be missed. My comments (Gold Hat) are in black, Eatyo Urgreens are in green (go figure?) and Zed's are in blue. Very important things are in red. And we have collectively written this story for your reading pleasure.
One final note before you start. This bait is a labour of love. All of us involved were incensed at this man's cruel treatment of a defenseless woman and became determined to punish the bastard any way we could. We have devoted countless hours and deployed our best techniques to that end. As of today we have wasted hundreds of his hours, cost him money and generally humiliated him - and there is more to come. We don't know how this will end up, but be assured of one thing, we have already won!

FROM ZED
Now for my preamble and 30-second summary before the e-mail chains get posted.
After seeing the inital response to what happend, I was pretty ticked off as were a lot of the folks who had heard of it, so the first think I did was pop off an ASEM to both Alex, and one of his gang, "Kwesi Banderman" as "Sister Anita Stiffy" of the "Church of the Holy Canine".
As expected, both took the bait. Things started progressing as a normal church straight bait for a while, as I was trying to get them to fill in the 23-page church application form. I was contacted by Gold Hat via PM over at the Eater, and that's where I found out about his and Eatyo's bait. Now, we were all stuck trying to figure out who was doing what to whom and how big the gang was. After some more PMs were exchanged, (and a couple of more beers for me), I decided to off Sister Anita Stiffy and bring in Mother Superior Helen Cassandra. So, with a quick e-mail letter off to the lads, I just had to wait to see if they would bite. Both did. This opened up a whole new world to us, and gave us other ways to torment them.
All I can say is "Never underestimate the power of a Nun". It's wasn't long before I had send a few good slaps to Alex, and actually managed to get a set from Alex, but Kwesi begged out, claiming he could not afford the cost of scanning or faxing them back. Now, Mother Cassandra has been transferred to Kazachstan (sp?), alllowing Brother Steve Austin to enter the picture.
In the meantime, Reverend Tim Horton got involved with the Millie saga and is trying to get the "money" for himself. I got an HSAT form back in record time from Alex, but alas, the police broke down his door just as he was writing an e-mail to Alex, telling him the transaction number. Sadly, his new squeeze, Julie Newmar, the bank clerk had made a mistake entering the transfer, and had to resend it, according to the last instructions, found in Reverend Horton's e-mail. Oops.
The saga will continue, and my exchanges will be added in with a separate thread, depending on the character du jour.

FROM EATYO GREENS
Lou Ellen Jennings touched me in a way I had never thought possible. When she was discovered and brought kicking and screaming from the clutches of Alex xxxxxx my head was in my hands. Lou was a frail, frightened old woman... confused, vunerable and ill. I conversed with Lou for quite some time, desperately trying to peel away the scammer by setting up an account and pretending to be Lou. I have emails from Lou that made me cry, really cry. I hated Alex and his cronies for what they had done to this woman and wanted some payback for a huge emotional investment made with Lou.
I knew that Superbad, Gold Hat and Zed were baiting Alex and other members, and when I was called in to play an audio baiting part, I jumped in...
Eileen Dover, and husband Ben, live on the Isle of Skye in Scotland. They have a working farm and rooms for tourists. They even breed Haggis
The voice of Eileen is quite the same as Mrs Doubtfire, and I'm very pleased to be screwing with this little turd Alex on behalf of Lou. I'm also playing the email game with Nonoh Micheal (notorious Nigerian bad-ass) and another Scottish Lass, Aideen Bogle - Private Investigator.
All I want is for Alex to blow his brains out. Seriously, I'd like to see him dead for what he has done. |

A Note On Canadian Humour
Quote: |
To get the most out of this bait, it is necessary to have an understanding of the Canadian references throughout the story. And it is also helpful to have an idea of what Canadians find humourous.
Canadians have the wonderful advantage of being situated both geographically and culturally between two influential world cultures - the British and the American. Some of course may argue that the phrase "American Culture" is an oxymoron. This last statement is an example of Canadian humour. Don't feel bad if you didn't get the joke.
Canucks go to great lengths to show the Yanks and anyone else that we are not alike. For example, the letter "Z" is incorrectly pronounced "Zee" south of our border and correctly enunciated as "Zed" here in the Land of the Free. Quick - name the 3 authors of this story! Aha - are you beginning to see how clever we are?
British humour is revered in Canada. From Monty Python to Black Adder/Mr. Bean to Yes! Prime Minister - our humour is a direct descendent of the British. Americans don't usually find it funny 'cause of the accent thing. You will find numerous references to famous British lines throughout this story.
Canadians have also developed some very dry, groaning humour that is lost to those outside of the border. References in this story are good examples of this. Many refer to the late Tim Horton, a very famous Canadian (hockey player of course!) who was tragically killed when, pissed out of his mind, he wrapped his expensive corvette around a lamp post at 200 miles per hour. Apart from a sterling hockey career, he also started a fresh doughnut business called, strangely enough, Tim Horton's Doughnuts. This business now has thousands of outlets across Canada and has become a national icon. One of it's unique products are Tim Bits. No, not modeled after his gonads, but rather small balls of greasy dough supposedly from the center of the holy donut.
Now you can understand the humour in the characters of Dr. Tim Bits, the Reverend Tim Horton of the Dou-Gnut Holy Church. References to Big Chubby need no explanation of course. And if you don't get Eileen, Ben and Skip Dover, then stop reading and turn on the television!
Enjoy the humour - there will be a quiz at the end for those who last and are still sober.

Reply from Millie
Dear Alex -
It is so very nice to hear from you. I imagine you have been quite busy over the holiday season like me. I spent the holiday in Toronto with my sister Clarice and her husband and we just returned - the roads were very bad with the snow storm.
I will use my cell phone to speak with you since it is portable and has a message thing in case I am asleep or at the doctor. My late husband Jim got the phone when we were in Seattle Washington a few years ago. Jim worked for American Avionics and we were based there for 6 years. We (or should I say I) still have some shares in the company and they have allowed me to keep the phone. In fact they still pay the bill although I don't think they realize I still use it up here in Canada. But that's okay because American Avionics make lots of money!
I don't have a home phone here in Big Chubby Lake (near Pembroke) yet. I just moved up here from Seattle to be close to my sister (after Jim passed on) and I stay in her granny cottage next door. Her husband doesn't want me making calls on their phone line as he runs a very busy escort service and is on the phone all the time. The phone company said it will install my own line in the Spring when the ice melts. That's the only problem living in a remote rural area - very poor service. But it is close to my sisters and I was very lonely in Seattle so I moved home. My family helped to settle this area over 150 years ago so the "Felchers" (my maiden name) were some of the original settlers. We are very proud of that!
So for now I will have to use my cell phone. And I would very much like to talk about your situation and your family. Jim always said that God would reward those who helped all people, even the heathens. I am almost always here except on Tuesday when I have to go to Brockville for therapy or Thursday when I play bridge all day and on the weekends I go to my sister Clarice's house if it isn't raining or snowing. The number of my cell is 206 - 666 - 7353.
May God bless you and keep you safe.

Subject: And a Happy New Year to you!
Hello Alex -
It was very good to hear from you and I have noted your new email address and phone number.
Please accept our best wishes from Clarice and I for a very happy and prosperous 2005. We are remembering you in our prayers and wish that you have God's blessing in your endeavours.
From your note it appears that you are well under way with the transfer. And yes, hiring a lawyer at this time would be most appropriate. Please let me know how I can help in any way with letters or forms. I remember all the paper work I had to do when Jim passed away so a lawyer is always needed. Although they are usually expensive, from experience I know the money is well spent. Let me know if I can help there.
As luck would have it, I have a very close cousin in the United Kingdom. She was born in Canada but has lived in Scotland and England for the past 30 years or so. She has a cottage on the Isle of Skye in Scotland and an apartment in London. She is about my age but won't tell me her exact age (which I think is very funny).
Her name is Eileen Dover. I wrote to her this morning asking if she would help me, in a confidential manner, to assist a new friend in Africa. She replied immediately indicating she would help in any way. She is a very nice person and most trustworthy. If you think that she can help with things such as a bank account in the U. K., please let me know. You can also call her at +44 (0)7849 xxx xxx from 7PM to 10 PM (U.K. time zone). She does a lot of volunteer work so she is only available in the evening.
I am so excited that this project is going forward. This is such a wonderful way to start the new year. As Jim used to say when quoting the bible, "God always blesses those who help others in need".
I await your instructions.
God Bless You,
Millie |
Alex seems solidly convinced he is now dealing with a sad old lady - reminiscent of the poor Lou Ellen - Is he ever in for a surprise

PART ONE - SECTION B
In this section the bait hook is firmly set. Millie asks Eileen Dover, her friend in the UK to help in the transfer of money to Alex. He is referred to a money transfer service that actually doesn't exist but has a presence on the Web. For security purposes the name has been omitted. He is a lazy bastard so we waste his time with lots of email. His lawyer Umeh Charles gets involved (it's actually Alex!)

Dear Alex -
Thank you for the acknowledgement. It is good to hear that things are progressing well. I hope your holiday in Ghana was enjoyable. I looked up your country in Jim's big atlas and it shows that you live very close to the equator. It must be very sunny with warm winds blowing where you live. We have been having a lot of ice and snow so it has been hard to travel on the back-country roads. Our minister had to cancel the New Year's Eve service because he was afraid too many people would have problems driving on the roads.
It is so sweet of you to want be my brother across the ocean. With Jim gone now I do so need some new friends and "brothers" to brighten my day. I sent a copy of your most recent note to Eileen and she wrote back that she was concerned that you did not trust her. I wrote back a quick note saying that you were just being careful because you didn't know her yet. Alex, if you have a minute, it would be a very nice gesture to give her a quick phone call just to say hello. She is an old lady like me and tends to worry too much if you understand what I mean? She is very generous, kind-hearted and most trustworthy and I can totally assure you that she would never "sit on the funds when transferred" as you wrote in your last email. Please, give her a call to cheer her up! (Eileen Dover at +44 (0)7849 xxx xxx from 7PM to 10 PM (U.K. time zone).
And finally, please do not worry because of past experiences as you say in your note. Jim used to always say that "to be a good Christian, one must always trust in the Lord for his keeping and follow His Direction to help others.
Looking forward to hearing about the lawyer.
Lots of hugs and God's Blessing

Hello Alex -
Well things are happening very fast now! Thank you so much for the picture - you are a very handsome man if you don't mind me saying so!
From what you have written, it seems that the lawyer's advice is the best course of action. My experience tells me that when it comes to legal details it is always best to have a qualified lawyer to look after things. And since the transfer has to happen in the UK, then Eileen would be the best choice to help in the transfer.
Let me know about the lawyer's cost. The Lord knows that I have spent a lot of money in the past on fees such as this, especially when Jim passed. I can put the cost on my credit card and pay it off when the transfer is complete so I'm not concerned there. And the credit card will automatically convert from Canadian funds to American, the currency you indicated. Just send how much of the amount of the $4,800 you want me to help with. Gee, I am beginning to feel like an international financier now
You mentioned that Eileen had not written. Please do not worry - you have enough to think about. She is very busy with her volunteer work and I think she mentioned something about an excursion with her Seniors Group. And she tends to sleep a lot (and so do I!)
Please let me know about the money and if there is any way I can help.
All God's blessings for your venture,
Hugs

Subject: Money is on the way
Hello Alex -
I hope everything is going well with the project. I received a very nice email from Eileen and she is so pleased that you have taken her into your confidence. I just know she will be a big help.
Regarding the phone call, I think that my cell phone is acting up as I have not been able to make calls the last 2 days. Clarice says that the battery is going so I should get a new one. Jim got the phone when we were in Seattle so it is kind of old now. I may go into Pembroke early next week if the roads are cleared and buy a new one because I would love to talk with you. Of course it would be so much easier if I could use Clarice's phone but her husband Mungo won't agree to that because he uses it for his escort business. This is somewhat odd as he always lets his girls use the phone! And as I mentioned earlier, the phone company can only install my own line in the Spring.
I had dinner at Clarice's last night and Mungo suggested that I use the money transfer service that he always uses - it is called xxxxxxxxx. He says it is cheaper than Western Union and this company will deliver the money right to your door for a small fee. So to save money and time I used that service.
If you go on the Internet to xxxxxxxxxxxx and register, you can track the money and direct the company to where you want it delivered. The information is as follows:
Transfer Code: 1246791455
Sent To: Umeh Charles
Location: Ghana
Sender: Mildred Ratchet
Amount: $3,000
Arrival Date: 10-01-2005
Secret Question: Where Do You Live?
Answer: Big Chubby Lake
So all you need to do now is go to the site, register your own account and track the delivery. Being as old as I am, it is always so fascinating how easy it is today to do things on the computer.
Please let me know how things are going.
Lots of hugs and God's Blessing,
Millie

I have contacted my bank just to make sure, and I am assured by the very nice Byran Green that my account can handle a maximum daily transfer of 5,000,000.00 GBP. At today's exchange rate that's
$9,359,732.82 USD ( 1 GBP = 1.87195 USD )
Byran Green has stated that keeping the daily figure to $9,000,000 USD will allow easy transfers and cover us for fluctuations in the exchange rate.
Monies received are then transfered to my holding account. The account has an unlimited balance and receives a monthly interest rate of 1.2%. As the Isle Of Skye is a Tax Haven there are no taxation difficulties.

Subject: xxxxxxx Problem
Hello Alex -
I am sorry that you had a problem with the transfer. I went to xxxxx and checked the account and everything seems to be okay. When I entered the tracking number it showed that the money had started on the way to you. So I am not sure what the problem is.
I asked Mungo for some advice and he said that sometimes it is necessary after you have created an account to quit the site and log in again with your account information. Then you use the "Track Your Transfer" button and enter the tracking code. When you see that the money has arrived, just go to the nearest bank that has xxxxxx and claim the money using the information I sent. You can also have them deliver it to your address for a small fee.
Here is the information again:
Transfer Code: 1246791455
Sent To: Umeh Charles
Location: Ghana
Sender: Mildred Ratchet
Amount: $3,000
Arrival Date: 10-01-2005
Secret Question: Where Do You Live?
Answer: Big Chubby Lake
Are you sure you created an account in your friend's name (Umeh Charles) because Mungo says that the tracking number will only work with his name, not yours.
Try again and let me know.
Hugs

Subject: Alex, I am most upset by all this!
Dearest Alex -
I am in such a tizzy after receiving your emails today. I just got back from hip physiotherapy and was greeted by this problem. Here I am sitting in pain, typing a letter to you, when I should be lying down as my physiotherapist recommended. I just don't understand how this can be so difficult for you.
You mention in your first letter that your friend opened "an email address" on the xxxxxxx site. I asked Mungo about this and he yelled at me that I was a stupid old woman and didn't know what I was talking about. He says there is no email service only money transfer. Mungo is not a nice man and abuses both Clarice and I whenever he drinks. I have just gone up to the internet site and there is no such function.
It appears to my simple mind that you cannot trust your friend to get the job done correctly. Is he fully capable mentally? Please take this advice from your "mummy", do the job yourself! Jim used to always say that to get an important job done, give it to a busy man. And Alex, you are certainly busy.
And what shall we do about paying the lawyer by Monday? If you don't set up an account, the money transfer company will not know where to deliver it. That was the main reason for using this quick service! And I can't easily get the money back to send another way. In fact I don't even know how to do that. I will have to email the company for the proper procedure but that certainly will not happen by Monday.
I can't charge any more money on credit card as it has a limit of $4,000 and there are still some Christmas bills to pay off.
Alex I still believe you are a good Christian man of his word. I have sent you all this money and arranged for Eileen to help you, based on that belief. Please . . . in the name of the Lord, do not disappoint me - please make this work.
Your very, very upset mommy

Dear Alex
Thank you for your kind words of understanding. My hip is still very sore and that depresses me. I am very sorry that there has been some difficulty with xxxxxxx but I am sure you can solve the problem when you (Alex) do the internet and paperwork. I should have never used this service and simply followed your directions but I thought it would be quicker and delivered to your door. And I will never ask Mungo for advice again!
As we have discussed in previous emails, the person to use as the contact for the Power of Attorney is Eileen. This seems the most logical given her location in the UK where the transfer will take place. I will send her a note this morning asking her to send you details. I think she has a new postal code so it is best she send you the information.
Hopefully you will be able to have the money delivered to you on Monday and all will be well. Please let me know the minute you receive the money so I can stop worrying.
God Bless,

It is unfortunate that Mr.Umeh Charles will not collect the money for the

Hello Dear Alex
It is good to hear that things are moving forward as I was beginning to be concerned. I am not sure as to why your friend has to travel to collect the money when he could have it delivered to his door. But you know best about these things.
As to Eileen's phone number, I told you in one of my previous emails that she has a cottage in Scotland and an apartment in London. My guess is that the phone she uses is registered there. I do know that her husband takes care of all those technical things just as Jim used to do with me. If you are worried I would suggest that you just give her a quick call. I know she enjoyed your chat a few days ago.
Hope to hear from you soon.

After receiving your emails, I went up to xxxxxxx and sent an email asking for help with the problem. A very nice gentleman (Mr. Ben Ninerone) wrote back indicating that there was no record of an Umeh Charles registering with their service. He went on to point out that there was nothing he could do unless the receiver of the money registered with the information and contacted the office.
So I am very confused Alex. Why have you not dealt with the situation as you promised? The money can only be directed to the new location if you register and then contact them with the information. There is an email address and a telephone number on the site so this is very easy. What is going on?
Please write back immediately explaining the situation. I am very upset that you have not received the money and I am trying to do everything to help the situation.

Hello Alex -
I have been in the hospital with my hip for two days. It turned out that I had a bone spur and the doctors had to remove it with arthroscopic surgery. Not a big operation but it certainly is sore.
Alex I don't know what to do to help you. For some reason you have not even bothered to set up a delivery with xxxxxxxx. I simply don't understand. Reading your emails about not being able to register is beyond me. All you have to do is click on the button for registration but you or your friend don't seem to be able to do this. I have to wonder whether or not you are serious about the money transfer.
Eileen gave me a call and said she tried to meet with you but you cancelled out at the last moment. Why did you do this? Both of us have been trying to help but you every offer is spurned. Why?
If you can't manage to transfer the money into your hands then I must consider contacting xxxxxxxx and have it credited back to my card. All this is very depressing and I am upset.
I hope God will help you to get it together.
