Well after the on and off fun I've been having with Mr Mike attempting to flog off a BMW to me, I have to say I really enjoy car baits. So much so that I've taken up the challenge, picked up the gauntlet that Unome has thrown down and I'm attempting to find a car with more than 2.0 poon tang factor!
Where do I find such a powerful car? From Double-O's mugu lists, that's where! Of the 2 bajillion that I ASEM with this:

Quote:
Dear Mr Balzenal,

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.
The car I’m looking for is a early model Datsun Hardrooter from 1965 to 1975. I’d prefer the sedan, but if you can find me a hatchback model in good condition that’ll be fine. Obviously the better the condition, the more money I’ll pay.
The car must have the original engine in it – a lot of people have swapped over to the unreliable Ke91Arzmunch from the german Daewoo Shitekicken. Aside from that I’m fairly open and will ask more questions when a suitable car is located. Please let me know if you have seen any for sale recently.

Regards
-Angelique Sweet

I got an amazing 2 replies. One was stupid enough to ask if my car was for sale (well it might be when I get one and get tired of it in say, 20 years or so...). But the other one held promise. Introducing Douglas:

Quote:
Hello, the car is located in uk,and the condition of the car is on excellent condition,no dirt.for the price i'm asking 3000 pounds plus shipping cash.pls let me know what you think cos i've got other buyers interrested.

No dirt? Well that's a sure indication that this car wasn't ever buried. That's fantastic news! And 3k pounds isn't a bad price for a hardrooter. Just a few questions that I have about my possible new ride first though...

Quote:
Dear Douglas,

That's fantastic news! I've been searching for a Hardrooter for the
last couple of years and while I've found plenty of Daewoo
Shitekickens, Nissan Muffdivas and Toyota Nee-Tremblers I still
haven't come across a decent Hardrooter yet, although this could be
the one I've been waiting for.
Could you please let me know about the following things:

What colour is it?

How much poon tang factor does it have?

Is it running a 13btt, a dc30 or an anuscam?

Is there enough room next to to spin cycle to fit in a Gerbalhump turbo?

Are the tyres the original Dunlop Scotesacs or have they been changed?

If you could answer these questions for me I would be very grateful. I
am very keen on this car, please I hope you are able to sell it to me.

Regards
-Angelique

Please be more than 2.0, please be more than 2.0....

Quote:
Hello Angelique,

What colour is it? Black

How much poon tang factor does it have? I don't know the tang factor....

Is it running a 13btt, a dc30 or an anuscam?It's running a 13btt

Is there enough room next to to spin cycle to fit in a Gerbalhump turbo? Yes

Are the tyres the original Dunlop Scotesacs or have they been changed? It's the original Tyres,i bought it new but i want to sell, cos i'm moving to my new house soon.

Hope to hear from you b'cos i have other buyers interrested.

He bought it new in 1965 and hasn't changed the tyres? It must be mint! Pity about the engine not being original, but I'm sure it'll cruise nicely with that 13b rx7 twin turbo inside. Plus it's got room for a renowned Gerbalhump! This thing will kill everything at the lights! Still waiting for that poon tang factor though....

Quote:
Hello Douglas,

I must admit, they are very impressive specs that you sent me - with
the 13btt under the hood this thing will hammer!
I should have explained myself earlier, the poon tang factor is the
measure of the displacement between the pistons and the rotors from
the chain drive pulley system. My last car was a BMW X5 which had 1.8
Poon Tang Factor. I am hoping that this Datsun has more poon tang
ability, because it's a handy thing to have when you're driving by yourself and you're crusing in unfamiliar territory. If you could let me know the poon tang factor of this car that would be great.
I also have a couple of other questions if you'll indulge me:

Are the seats genuine moleskin originals or have they been converted to seal?

Have you created a short shifter or is it long enough already?

Are there any stains on the back upholstery?

Thank you
-Angelique and Alex

Looks like I'm going to have quite an impressive car yard by the time this year is over Twisted Evil

2.5 poon tang factor and an 8-tarck player? How can I say no to a deal like this?!?

Quote:
Dear Amanda,
Thank you for interest in our BMW X5 , we welcome your questions and will attend to them one accordingly:
1)The BMW X5 3.0i does comw with McKenzie overlift valve, this has been the valve we recommend for our cars.
2)You will not be disappointed over the poon tang factor of this car because it has 2.5 poon tang factor.
3)This model does come with UTLX register gauge.
4)We have the car in both right and left hand drive, both of them are identical.
5) Yes it does come with 8-tarck player.
6)The electrical alternator has an AC out put which is veriable , above 1000volts.

I HOPE THIS FITS WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING OUT FOR.
WE WAIT TO HEAR FROM YOU ASAP.
Mr Jafferson G.

@ Kunoichi:

George Jefferson:

I'll take the model with both left and right hand drive. I know a driving instructor who could use a car with two steering wheels. It would also make traveling through Europe much easier, as I could switch sides and always be looking at the road from the right angle without having to change cars.
