The Urgreens Academy is proud reveal yet another episode from the book of baits.

PAYNE PAIN - SCAMMER BEING SCAMMED!

The Good Guys (in order of appearance)
The Scammer Saver ............. Sabrina Tait

The Bad Guys (in order of appearance)
Payne The Pain .................... Payne Wayneson
Lottery Lughead .................. Lewis Dare

Special Thanks
Well done to eater member laszlo for digging up this rather unusual format. A brief discussion was held here: MAIN SCAM BAITING FORUM - I am confused

Narrator
Eatyo Urgreens

This one is quite short and not a funny bait. However, it shows that the scammer is constantly adjusting their technique to gain the confidence of a would-be victim, and to get at their cash.

Payne sends out an email pretending to be the winner of a lottery...

Payne,

Sweetheart, it still does not make a great deal of sense, I think that
maybe your English is slightly out. Never mind, just tell me what you
would like me to do to help you resolve the problem.

Sabrina.

This seems to get Payne focused, and the sooner Sabrina gets to the bottom of this the better.

Ok, so you want me to talk to this guy... what am I supposed to say to

YOU are the winner, then he's not going to have my name on his books.

You had better tell me what you want me to say to him.

Ok Payne,

You want me to contact this man on your behalf, give the secret password
and ask for the money, is that right?

What is the address of this organisation? The email they sent does not
even tell you the full address.
The phone number has a British prefix (44) but the number is one of
those "follow me" 070 numbers, so they could be anywhere. (Gee, ya think it might be a con?)

Dear Mr. Dare,

I am writing to you on behalf of Mr. Payne Wayneson, a winner of your
lottery. Mr Wayneson has asked me to quote the following password:
45lg90 for identification.

Mr Wayneson has apparently had some difficulty collecting his
$100,000USD winnings from you, and has asked for my assistance in the
matter. Would you be kind enough to furnish me with details on how to
assist in the transfer of the winnings.

In addition, please supply me with your organisational address and
office telephone number.

Regards
Sabrina Tait

Sabrina is deliberate in her asking for an address and phone number as she does need to know who she is dealing with.

Dear Sabrina Tait,
With reference to the lottery rules and regulations Mr Payne wayneson trully win the said prize and we asked him how he did want to claim his prize but he did not have an account where he can transfer his prize into. All we will need from you is your account reference number, acct number ,bank address, shift code ,your full name and contact address so that we can transfer the money into your account, and more so you will be responsible for the charges will we use in processing the transfer of the prize into your account ,this asked to be claimed before the deadline date .Hope there is a warmth agreement between the two parties he and you, because this organisation did not want to hear any problem at the end of these.
Your faithfully,
Lewis Dare..

IP Address matches one already used by Payne, so we can bet it's a safe bet to be the same Lad.

Sabrina is a bit upset that her question about an address and phone number has gone unanswered, and she is already suspicious of the fee thing.

Sabrina,
Thanks for the mail ,i dont think our address is so important and our phone number because am the one handling this section and the only way you can get intouch with me its through my email address and am sure thats all i could offer you.As for the fees the bank transfering the money in said require some funds for transfering the money into any successful winner's account and so our organisation as agreed with them so if you cant pay any funds for transfering of the money its let to you , we cant beg any winner to claim its prize all is left in your palm if you like claim it or not ,its a big fish in an ocean that needs home and be in society and power which is money .
A $100,000 not a small property but a good future i will urge you to think twice and get back to me before it is too late for you.
Your faithfully,
Lewis Dare..

The address isn't important? Asswipe.

Actually you are wrong.

If you represent a legitimate law abiding organization you will forward
your details to me immediately and not make lame excuses about it being
"important". Of course it's important, how else is one supposed to
varify that you are in fact telling the truth? I want your address and
phone number, simple.
I expect you to make excuses, therefore proving that you are trying to
hide something. Send me your address and phone number please.

Furthermore I require a pro-forma invoice for this fee on your letter
headed paper with complete instruction of how much and to where it is to
be paid. This will be used for tax purposes in my country.

Sabrina
Cc: Payne Wayneson

This of course will test the resolve of the scammer, and how desperate he is for cash.

With no response for 2 days, Sabrina attempts to provoke Payne into a response.

Subject: You are being scammed

Payne,

I hope you are well. Your silence disturbs me somewhat what's the
matter? I don't beleive this lottery thing anymore Payne and I've
become very suspicious because the man Lewis Dare won't provide details
of the organisation he works for or even a phone number.

Because of this I have asked a friend of mine to have a look at the
correspondance and he states that this Lewis chap is a 419 scammer
trying to obtain advance fees. The lottery he represents is completely
bogus and does not exist. If I were you I would ignore this Lewis man
and inform your local Police.

He has tried to scam you, and becuase of your problems he tried to scam
me. Don't deal with him Payne.

Ragards

Sabrina Tait

THE END

Like so many lottery scammers, as soon as they are confronted they scurry off like the cowards they are.

Thanks for watching.

Excellent bait,
I've tried to immediatelly backstab Mr. Payne and get all the lottery money myself, but i guess his personality split wasn't profound enough, so after a couple of back and force emails he simply stopped communicating with me.
