I have tried this on holidays at market places in strange countries and usualy got send away quite quickly. This lad however is willing to play ball:

I made a mistake I was going to ask 60-40 hoping he'd go for 50-50 after which I could raise the stakes again to 70-30, but I got this amazing reply:

I would tell him that 30% should be good for him, considering the cost of living difference. Hell, 30% is probaby equal to 3 or 4 times what you're getting, when you factor in cost of living. He needs to cover all those costs, because you're going to have to pay for a lot of things on your end, mainly taxes.  |
