hi all.

I have a scammer who says "she" is in the Ukraine.
I am in Australia.

"she" has given me:
Account details in the name of an Australian man with an Australian Bank (her "friend" who can pass the monies onto her).
"Her' WU details.
An obviously fake Australian passport (and a pretty bad one at that haha).

all correspondence via messenger so no email headers.

"her" preferred option is for me to transfer the money to the Australian Bank Account so "he" can give the money to "her"

What is the plan of attack from here please....

Pass the bank details to a moderator via PM, using this format:

ACCOUNT HOLDER NAME:
BANK NAME:
ADDRESS:
BANK SWIFT CODE:
ACCOUNT NUMBER:
Code to the bank branch (SORT CODE/ROUTING NUMBER/IBAN/SWIFT):
Email: "Scammers email"
Scammer Posing as: "Lad Name"
Type of Scam: e.g. Next of Kin Scam

You can then award yourself a piggy bank icon.

Clarification.

Wu details are the ukraine.
Bank is australian

I think the scammer is using this old mans account
Either with or without his permission.
He's maybe getting scammed too?

Will try to upload screenshots.

Not sure if shutting down that bank account is the best course of action?

Do not upload screenshots of the bank account - do as Yastreb says and pass the details to a Moderator.

Regardless of whether the man in Australia is complicit or not, his account needs to be reported to stop other victims being scammed using it.
